Cleaning fees also include: Maintenance, supplies, restocking costs. This pays for guest consumables (Such as laundry detergent, soaps, shampoos, starter set of paper towels, tp, etc. For longer stays, we ask guests to purchase). Replacement of items such as broken coffee makers, portable heaters, fans, linens, towels and more. Regular trash removal from bear bins to town dump. We ask guests to assist with optional checkout procedures that are very time consuming such as start dishwasher, wash a load or two of towels. While these procedures are optional for guests, they are highly appreciated to help save our cleaners time, particularly for our back to back turnovers which are very difficult in the Vacation Home Rental industry. – Thank You Lux Villa VR

Fall Family fun
Since 2014 our family has enjoyed family time in the Lake Tahoe/Apple Hill area. Some years - we can all make it (44 of us - so hard to find a place we can all enjoy together); some years - not everyone can be there for the entire weekend (this year we only had 15 able to spend the weekend - the rest met us in Apple Hill on Monday). We found the property met our needs. It was very clean. Most of us enjoyed the spa. We went on two hikes - the trails were nearby, spent time in the Heavenly area, and late nights laughing and playing games. The set up of the house let movies watchers a quiet place and noisy games players an area which did not bother the others. Stores and restaurants were a short drive away. Beds were on the whole comfy, but I heard that a couple of them had a little squeak. I would recommend this property to everyone.

Perfect weekend getaway
Everything at the property was as described in the listing and fully stocked. Very convenient location close to state line and beaches. Plenty of room for 10 adults. Extra beach towels provided was also a big plus. Only wish we had more time to stay.

Nice big house with a lot of potential. Kitchen was out of most silverware ( no forks at all). House was alittle dirty especially the floor. Was swept but did not seem mopped. Feet and socks were very dirty from walking on it.

Great for large group
Had no problems with the property, came in the winter for snow sports in Heavenly. Everything is as described and was a great place to stay. Great location with proximity to Heavenly.

House was good. Kitchen appliances do not work well especially the stove! Also, there are No comfortable chairs on the deck—only hard ones.. I think this is the only house I’ve ever rented that didn’t supply a weeks worth of paper goods and toilet paper. Overall good rental but lots of little annoyances that shouldn’t have been
