What a surprise this hotel was! We love when buildings are repurposed for further use and not tore down to make room for modern eye sores. This hotel sits in the former YMCA and it retained all its charm! The pool in the lower lobby is original and wonderful. The art work around is cool and modern. We loved our king corner room with the couch banquette. The room was so clean and fresh and modern. We usually try to stay in a different hotel when in town...however we agreed that we want to stay again. Great place.

Always wanted to stay at a 21C and this was my opportunity. Think Manhattan hotel in Downtown St. Louis though The hotel was renovated from an older building, so the King room we had was very small. No room for two people to sit, so we spent lots of time hanging in the lobby. The ambiance was great. Loved all the art!!! The bar staff was fun but it was very noisy. Not a fan of the restaurant. The big draw back was parking. This area is not the safest and secure parking was an extra $45/night. That was not disclosed in the booking( again with the resemblance to Manahattan) Also not a great area to walk around in at night looking for food or entertainment. They had the BEST hotel swimming pool and hot tub. This is a pool to actually work out in. Also, saunas, great gym and spa, though I did not have time to book an appointment.

21c is an incredible property! We really enjoyed our stay, including the food and coffee at the hotel. The art on the 2nd floor and around the property made this a truly unique experience. Service and hospitality was also fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel.

The workers were so very nice. But the cleanliness of the hotel, that's a museum?? Horrible... our room was so dusty. Cob webs in the windows, random hair on the dressers.. the bed hasn't comfy. The pillows we horrible.. they look nice and fluffy till you lay on them and then doesn't even feel like it's there. There weren't any trash bags in any of the trash cans. The service was great again. But the actual hotem it's self was not what I was expecting at all..

Furnace was broken in room, we froze, staff was not helpful and some couldn’t communicate. Service extremely slow restaurant and bar had poor hours. This was not a inexpensive hotel and should have been a much more pleasant stay

Both the hotel and staff are great! Beautiful new, clean rooms and very comfy pillows. Pool, hot tub, and sauna are very nice bonuses. If you’re going to the Dome or Arch, it’s a little bit of a walk (about a mile), but Lyft is cheap.
