We are centrally located in the Fox Park neighborhood. Less than 10 min from downtown area attractions; great location for getting to major city sites easily by car. The area is a good mix of old classic brownstones and new development. There are a couple of great restaurants in the neighborhood but overall not many shops/restaurants within walking distance. Lots of free street parking out front so no worries there.

Yes! Our neighborhood is among the safest in St. Louis city (reference: Trulia crime stats). Please know that the area is safe and not near the areas (North and East St. Louis in particular) that you hear about in the news. That said, it is a city neighborhood, not gated suburb and you'll find a wonderful melting pot of old homes, new development and diverse neighbors.

wonderful stay
the unit is very comfortable, clean and has a great living area and kitchen. The location is great with privately held upscale restaurants right in the area. good location for all sports and downtown events, though we did not go to these. the owner, Joe was great and allowed a late modification becuse our business schedule changed. i highly recommend this property.

Convenient location
The unit was nice and the location was convenient. The unit was upstairs and the stairs were a little small. The place smelled of marijuana due to the downstairs occupant. It was really strong and even with spray it was strong. The back of the building was less than ideal to look at. Other than that the stay was good.

Perfect Spot in a Quiet Area
This VRBO was so nice. Very clean and we had plenty of room. It was in a quiet, clean neighborhood. Not far from "downtown" area. Owner was super nice and helpful. Communication was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely stay again! Thanks again!!

Amazing host, amazing place
We went on a girl’s trip for an extended weekend. This was the perfect place. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony each morning, Ubered most places which were close, ate great food recommendations by our host within walking distance, and slept so well. We can’t say enough great things about Joe. He reached out to make sure we were settled and had everything we needed. He was very responsive and helped quickly fix the tub draining issue to make it so good. We would return here if in St. Louis again. Thank you for letting us stay, Joe.

We absolutely loved this property! This place was completely set up for a comfortable stay! The apartment was extremely charming with a rustic industrial, old world vibe. Happy 75th Birthday!
The location was pretty nice. The homes are a mix of lovely rehabs, rehabs in progress, and some burnt-out places. It was 10 min to Grant's Farm, 5 min to Morgan Ford Spa and Schnuck's Grocery. Street parking was plentiful. We had a lovely weekend and enjoyed morning coffee on the second-floor deck.

When visiting a major city, concerns about the safety of a neighborhood are common, especially for unfamiliar visitors. This accommodation was situated in the heart of historic St. Louis, providing convenient access to various attractions and activities planned for our family vacation. It was just minutes away from the iconic Gateway Arch, the world-renowned St. Louis Zoo, numerous museums including the City Museum, and a plethora of dining options. The apartment itself was aesthetically pleasing, historically significant, and meticulously clean. It was well-equipped with an array of essential items, including extra blankets, pillows, towels, and kitchen spices, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay. While I initially had reservations about street parking, I was pleasantly surprised to find ample parking spaces available, eliminating the need for parallel parking. Communication with the host exceeded expectations. The host proactively provided dining recommendations and responded promptly to any inquiries we had. I would wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation and would gladly return to St. Louis, even if it were solely for the purpose of staying there again.

Great place!
The location of this unit is so convenient. Check in was very easy and straight forward, the ppace was very clean, and our kids loved it. Joe was immediately responsive to any questions we had and also made some great recommendations in the area. I would strongly recommend to anyone looking to stay in St Louis!

This apartment was just what I needed for my stay. I loved the use of reclaimed wood in the space. It gave it an old feel, yet was very up-to-date. It was very clean and felt comfortable. I loved some of the interesting items used in the decor. I appreciated the host's dining suggestions that could be found nearby.

The best place to stay for a weekend away!
My family had such a nice stay. We were in town for a concert, and our stay was so fitting for everything we did. We loved the area, the house’s character, and all the handy accommodations. We all slept comfortably in our own spaces. If/when I return to the area, I won’t look for another place to stay; I’ll just easily book this again!

Great apartment in STL!
This apartment is full of character! The neighborhood seems to be up-and-coming, with some buildings (like this one) nicely updated, and others apparently unoccupied. The neighborhood seems very safe and has some great coffee/food options nearby. The apartment itself has a big, comfy couch, a fantastic memory foam mattress in the main bedroom, and lovely decor. I also appreciated access to various streaming services, and they welcomed my family with our name on a chalkboard, which was a sweet touch!
