The location is probably the best, but also the worst thing about this location. We never had to drive very far to do all the stuff we wanted to do while staying in St. Louis. There are several good restaurants and a great cafe, within a few minutes walk. That being said, there was also a very loud nightclub just across the intersection near the condo that played insanely loud music weekend nights, esp Saturday. We played white noise and had ear plugs, so it was ok, but surprised that's allowed in a place with so many apartment buildings nearby. The condo itself is a renovated brownstone with lots of character. It was nice to have plenty of room for our family of 4 for the week. There is a well-lit spot for parking behind the building for 2 cars, first come first served. It's next to an overgrown empty lot and alleyway and one morning we found 3 empty, dumped out purses discarded not far from our car, obviously stolen, so we didn't feel it was safe to park back there after that. Parking on the street in front of the building was fine though- very well lit and busy enough. One thing that was a little embarrassing was that the grass in front of the building needed mowing badly. It would have taken someone like 10 minutes to mow but you could tell it hadn't been done in a long time. The back was nice- fenced w/ fake grass + seating, but also a lot of volunteer trees growing where they shouldn't be. Overall, they need better upkeep + attention to details, but clean.
