Charming Waterfront Cottage in St Michaels
Begin your day at Riverview Retreat with a beautiful sunrise and be amazed with a stunning sky at sunset. As soon as you enter this charming cottage you are greeted with wide open vistas of the Miles River from the foyer, living room, sun room, kitchen and dining room. Freshly painted and appointed with modern and comfortable furnishings, bedding and a well-stocked gourmet kitchen, this three-bedroom two and a half bath home is sure to please. Located close (75ft) to the water's edge, where you can fish or crab from the private dock. Crab cages are available for your use as well as 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, cornhole boards, and 2 adult bikes to mosey into St. Michaels for ice cream or a little shopping. Or simply relax in the Adirondacks and enjoy the sailboat races and wildlife that frequent, including osprey, turtles, rays and even the occasional pod of dolphin that make their way up the Miles River. St Michaels is a 15-minute walk or less than 5 minutes by bike with all the conveniences, including shopping, restaurants, wineries, the Chesapeake Bay Marine Museum and more!

The property was beautiful, right on the water and so close to the downtown area. We really enjoyed the stay and loved that the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and cookware. I’d definitely stay there again. Awesome experience!

Amazing Property
We stayed here while we were producing an event at the Inn at Perry Cabin. Unfortunately, we were only able to enjoy the property for a small amount of time due to our work schedule, but this is definitely a place I will return to on my leisure time!

Beautiful home and setting. Loved the visit. All the amenities were easily accessible but we could never find the keys to the boat!! "walking" distance to town is accurate but the quotation marks are necessary.

Very clean and large property on scenic river. Only disappointing issues included problems launching kayaks over a tall wall and unfriendly TY cable system. Offset by abundance of great restaurants and peaceful and well maintained home.

Memorable 4th of July Week!
What a fun, peaceful and magical week on the water at this special property. It is not an exaggeration to say the house was perfect - much more spacious than we expected, beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and it had all of the kitchen amenities you could imagine. The sun porch was a gem, perfect for gathering during the afternoon storms and also an ideal quiet spot for work calls We enjoyed the bikes, kayaks and SUPs daily and spent every evening on the lawn or dock. It was hard to leave and we can't wait to come back!

Great stay at Riverview Terrace
My family and I had a great stay at the house. It was super clean and comfortable. The house is an easy walk or bike ride into town. We loved hanging out on the dock and were able to dock our boat as well. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely home. We will sure to be back soon!

Perfect long-weekend on the water
We rented this property for a long-weekend in October. The photos do not do it justice! So well stocked - not just the kitchen, but laundry facilities and games (indoor & outdoor) for kids & grownups of all ages. Amazing views. Clean & convenient to town. Can’t wait to return!

Perfect
Beautiful house in a great location. We stayed with our kids (7, 9) and brought our bikes and our boat. The house was great with many extra touches including fun activities for the kids. They enjoyed the swing in the backyard as well as the beanbag toss, kayaks and paddle boards. We biked into town frequently and kept our boat tied to the dock for easy access to the bay.

We spent the week there with family including a 2 year old. The place is beautifully renovated, modern and clean. Master bed and bath are excellent. Perfect waterfront setting. Very peaceful and quiet. easy drive/bike to downtown area. Our only complaint was the dishwasher was very tricky to use.

Comfy and Cozy, but Pricey Fees
We enjoyed our stay, but would not stay again or recommend due to the extremely high service fees. While the home is comfy and cozy, the value for our stay wasn’t there. We paid over an exorbitant amount for "service fees." For a 3 night stay - we were charged nearly the same amount for the stay as we were for the service fees. While the additional costs were included when we booked, the details of the fees were not revealed until later. They were for cleaning and property management fees. It essentially added an additional 70% costs to our stay. When we arrived there were only 4 rolls of toilet paper for 3 bathrooms, one roll of paper towel, and no actual home trash bags - only large trash bags for outdoor. Unfortunately, for such a short stay the value wasn’t there especially compared to other places we have stayed in the area.

Very nice waterfront home just a few minute walk from the main shops and restaurants in Saint Michaels. This home has been recently updated with new kitchen and bathrooms. There are large screen TVs in all bedrooms and the two parlors. The sun room overlooking the water is a wonderful place to enjoy the start of the day or a relaxing afternoon. There is a full dock and kayaks on site. We also enjoyed the grill and firepit for great way to wind down the day.

Beautiful and Relaxing Stay
The property is beautiful and very clean. The views are stunning! It was a great house for us traveling with our two young kids because they had at a open room that we could spread the kids toys across and still watch them from the kitchen and the living area. They also had a fully stocked kitchen so we were able to make our meals at the home. A stunning property and a wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Riverside Retreat. The setting on the river was so beautiful and peaceful. The rooms were an adequate size, just a bit confusing layout but not a problem. The one thing that threw all of us was that the beds weren’t made up. The sheets and towels were provided but there was no explanation of the need to make the beds. I don’t know if that was a COVID thing, but I think if you’re not going to make up the beds, let us know so that we can make the beds before we are ready to crawl into it. Also the oven quit working and after being promised a repair man when I reported it, .... he never came, ...so we were cooking our meals on the grill in the rain. Very dissatisfied with that, and no offer of some compensation.

Lovely getaway weekend!
This property is just as beautiful as the listing! Views are amazing! Downtown St. Michaels is just a short drive to shops, restaurants, etc. The neighborhood is a great place to walk or take a bike ride. Would highly recommend!

Riverview Retreat was a Treat!
This home will be in demand in no time at all since it is clean, well designed and located! for vacation living. Great full service kitchen with Breakfast counter and Dining Room. Comfortable Living Room, Sun Room and Den with fireplace round out one's comfort. Bedrooms were uniformity comfortable and the Master Bath was to die for. I will come to dislike the competition to reserve this property! Location, Location, Location! Love the View of the Miles River with its yacht traffic!
