Found it a bit disappointing.. the price that was given to us on Hotel.com and The Golden Nugget differed. Golden Nugget priced more. The room seemed dirty and run down. There was no upkeep service offered. Hotel was converted from a Hard Rock hotel, there was a lot not transitioned to Golden Nugget. Didn’t appreciate having to go up or down a floor for ice. Shower needed updating.. Not impressive

The hotel was great, the room was clean and cozy. However, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and the heating system throughout the hotel ran way too hot. The air conditioning will not work during the winter months and the thermostat in our room was constantly reading 78 degrees unless we had the window open which was not ideal in a snow storm.

The night we spent there was pretty good but it was way too hot in the rooms. We tried turning on the air conditioner but it made it hotter. We then noticed a sign that read, “We can’t run the heat and air conditioning at the same time, so it’s either one or the other”. And because it was winter time, it was only the heat that was ran. We did call the front desk to request a fan which kinda helped out somewhat.

I was double charged for parking. Once with my deposit fee which I was unaware of and once when leaving. They don’t make that clear when you arrive. Ana the front desk was absolutely no help and ended up not picking up my call. The parking lady was very mean over the phone and did not want to do her job. Just bad service.

Heat was on full blast in my room, making the temp legitimately 90. I wish I'd taken a picture because I wasn't aware it was possible to get a room that hot in the winter. The solution I was offered was to open the window and given a fan. I asked for a different room and was told all the rooms have the same issue. Found this interesting, since no one else I spoke with seemed to have the same issue
