* HURRICANE UPDATE - WITH THREE HURRRICANES HITTING OUR TOWN IN THE SUMMER OF 2024, CURRENTLY BOTH BOAT DOCKS AND ICE MACHINE WERE DAMAGED AND/OR MISSING. Updates will be posted as repairs are being made*

-Sleeps 10 and space for air mattress in living room. Sleeps 2 families easily.
-1 mile to town and 2 miles to public boat ramp.
-Large screened in Patio with great river views. All rooms have water views.
-Boat and trailer parking on property, Boats with T-Tops can NOT park under house. Boats with T-tops park on left side of house by stairs.
-The house has central A/C but NO heat. Space heaters are provided for every room during the winter months.
- bring your kayaks/canoes and float the steinhatchee falls.

Scalloping weekend
Enjoyed our stay here. Peaceful location. We had 7 people and had more than enough room in the house. Easy to find. House had everything we needed. Rented boat from sea hag marina and had great time scalloping. Was able to dock the boat at the house. Would stay here again.

Great boating set up, disappointing interior
We loved the double dock and ice machine and fish filleting/scallops shucking station. We also enjoyed the large screened in deck over looking the back of the property and liked the large dining table but the cleanliness and kitchen outfitting was lacking.

Home away from home
Everything was made available for our stay. Lots of parking underneath, huge ice machine, and lots of room for my family and friends. Had plenty of amenities and everyone enjoyed themselves. Also loved having a dock to park the boat and a cleaning station. Definitely a place to come back to.

Manatees onsite
It is a nice relaxing area with a great veiw of the canal and river. On day three we were visited by atleast 7 manatees. Overall stay was great communication with property owner was quick. Definitely recommend this place. Thanks

Family wedding
We traveled 15 1/2hrs to steinhatchee for a family wedding, when we pulled up to the house and walked in we was able to relax right away. The back porch was my favorite spot to sit and have my morning coffee over looking the canal. My kids loved that there was games, puzzle and cornhole at the house. We will definitely be staying again when we go visit family.

We had an amazing time here. Everything was absolutely perfect with plenty of room. We made dinner both nights. I’ve brought stuff from home because usually there is not what I need at places we’ve rented. But Brian had everything we needed and more.. will stay again ❤️

Nice stay!
The inside of this house is really cute and comfy! Slept 10 nicely- 4 older adults, 6 grown children, ages 21-26, and one teenager. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water in the showers. Beautiful 30 minute boat ride down the river to get to the gulf if you are fishing or scalloping. There were 2 issues that occurred with the renters right before us-ice machine broke, and a recliner was stuck in an upright position-but the owner communicated with us to apologize the minute he found out about the issues. I would gladly stay here again.

Perfect place to stay
This place has everything. Plenty of space for everyone staying with us. There is a screened in deck for morning coffee or evening gathering. I liked that the dining table is big enough for everyone to eat together. So many places can sleep 10 but only have 4 dining chairs. Staying on the canal was beautiful and peaceful. The kids brought their kayaks and were never bored. You can't go wrong staying here.

Great Place to Vacation
I've used VRBO in the past and this was by far the best experience yet. The house was very clean and well taken care of, the location was great, and the ice machine is an added bonus. The house and property had everything we needed. Being able to park our trailers under the house was very convenient. Very nice property and we definitely hope to stay at this same location next year.

Clean and great locatiom
My husband and I along with our friends had a great time staying here. The screened patio was a nice touch, the location on the water was perfect, and the house was clean. The owner chatted with us on the phone and gave us some good restaurant recommendations. Highly recommend!

Perfect Place
The house and property were both perfect! We liked being able to have our boat right docked right out back on the river. There were plenty of extras provided that made our stay fun and easy! Having the ice maker on the property was a real bonus and money saver!
