This is a really nice place. Unfortunately the night we were there it was very hot and there’s no air conditioning. We’ll probably go back but not in the summer months.

No free parking. Room was dirty. Hotel was smelly (particularly the staircase). Room had no air conditioning so we struggled to sleep.

Beautiful hotel with so much history and and excellent Continental breakfast. Located in thenheart of Stratford Upon Avon I was able to walk to all the points of Historical interest.

Handy for theatre. Not like the change in dining room decor since 2 yrs ago, nor meagre continental breakfast balanced in bar ledge. Used to be served in dining room. No tissues in room. What a change in 2 years

When searching I searched for hotels with parking. This hotel came up in the search. It In fact does not have parking and the closest public parking lot is 5 mi a walk away. In addition the hotel or tired, the carpets were worn on the stairs and dirty in the hallways. Overall a below expected experience

OK but not great
The hotel was in a great place, in the centre. Unfortunately the hotel needs few upgrades. Our room was a 'superior' room but it needed modernising in terms of bathroom, tv, carpet etc. Certainly needs air conditioning. The hotel does not have a lift. It is a good 2 star hotel

Easy to access by car for unloading luggage. We were early and our luggage was stowed until checkin time so we were able to explore our surroundings on foot. Everything was convenient, shops, restaurants, theatre, all of which were an easy walk. A continental breakfast was available with our room, bonus. Highly recommend.

Would do it again.
We had an excellent stay, we haven't been away for along while and what a great place to stay. The people who worked there were really nice, the location is pretty much in the town and the place itself was fantastic.
