This holiday park is situated on top of a hill, approximately 2 km from the cozy village of Stromberg, in the Luftkurort resort of Schindelberg. This accommodation in the middle of the woods is just a few steps from an 18-hole golf course (with driving range & putting green) and a variety of Nordic Walking/Wandelroutes. There are many activities here for both young and old including horseback riding, an adventure playground, forest learning trail and challenging mountain bike routes. A tennis court is closeby and all guests have free access to the Schindeldorf pool in the town of Rheinböllen (12 km away). The Snow Erbeskopf area lies within a radius of 50 kilometers. In winter you should not miss the joy of tobogganing from the Forsthaus to Lauschhütte.

Stromberg is situated near the Rhine and Mosel Rivers. It is in the area of the "Hunsrück", a low mountain range in Rhineland-Palatinate. Known as the city of "Three Castles, Three Hills and Three Valleys", Stromberg and its surroundings are a popular holiday destination. Sightseeing in the MittelRheintal (Rhineland-Palatinate) includes impressive traces of an eventful past: fortress walls, medieval towers, castles and patrician houses. But the beautiful cascading vineyards and cities of Mainz (Domstad), Wiesbaden and Binz plus the old Roman town of Koblenz are all rich in art and culture and certainy worth a visit. Or walk for hours through the forest and discover this beautiful and romantic environment. Because of its location - in a wine region and forest - the regional cuisine in and around Stromberg is varied. In short, all the ingredients are present for a pleasant stay in the enchanted landscape of the Hunsrück.
