Spacious, privacy and beautiful unobstructed view of the mountains and valley

Chalet Stuhlfelden is located in Pirtendorf (municipality of Stuhlfelden) at an altitude of 860 meters. Our authentic Austrian chalet is detached and located on the mountain and has a beautiful unobstructed view over the valley and the Hohe Tauern. It is very quietly located, almost at the end of a dead end road, in the middle of the grasslands, with only a house next to you.

The house is located between the ski areas of Zell am See/Kaprun/Saalbach-Hinterglem and Kitzbuhel, reachable in 13-20 minutes. In the winter you can enjoy fantastic skiing, hiking, cross-country skiing, etc. In summer you can enjoy cycling or mountain biking, hiking, climbing, golfing (Mittersill and Zell am See), archery and much more.

With a total living space of 270m2, spread over 3 floors, you can relax and be together with several families, children or friends in beautiful surroundings.
The chalet is very spacious and comfortably furnished, for up to 12 people.

Layout
Ground floor
The ground floor is spacious with a large hall, modern kitchen with built-in appliances, dining room with Austrian dining area, spacious living room with large Smart TV, and a spacious double room with private bathroom. From the living room you have access to the spacious south-facing garden with a beautiful view of the mountains and the valley. There is also a terrace on the side where you can enjoy the sun in the evening and the beautiful view of Stuhlfelden and Mittersill.

First floor
Via a wide staircase and hall you enter the first floor with 2 spacious double rooms with en-suite bathroom including toilet, a spacious 4-person room with 2 single beds and a bunk bed, with en-suite bathroom including toilet. There is also a double room with bunk beds and private sink. The first floor is surrounded by a large balcony facing south and west with seating. 3 bedrooms open onto the balcony.

Basement
In the basement you will find a sitting area in the hall with smart TV and a Playstation 4 including games. In the wellness area there is a spacious sauna at your disposal. There is a large billiards table that you will enjoy. There is also a large shower room with 2 showers, a seating area and a Bluetooth sound system. You will also find an authentically decorated wine cellar here where you can enjoy each other's company.
You will also find a separate laundry room where you can use the washing machine (including detergent), dryer and ironing board.
In the basement there is a ski boot dryer and a drying cupboard for wet gloves, etc.

There is a garage where you can hang your skis. All garden furniture is also there.
There is enough space in the driveway to park several cars (max 4).

Environment
From the chalet and from the sunny terraces and balconies you have a beautiful view of the mountains, the valley and the village of Stuhlfelden.

There are 4 ski areas in the immediate vicinity: 2 large ones, Zell am See/Kaprun/Saalbach-Hinterglemm (a 20-minute drive via the Areitexpress) and Kitzbuhl (13 minutes to the Kitzbuhl Panoramabahn in Hollersbach), and 2 smaller ones: Weissee ( 30 min drive) and Neukirchen.

Stuhlfelden itself is a beautiful village known as the oldest archery village in Europe. Here you can take archery courses for beginners and advanced students in the beautiful indoor and outdoor facilities available. There is also a beautiful old church, probably the oldest in the region.

Panoramic house between many ski areas
We spend a week with three families in this house and everything was perfect. House is located near Mittersill, which makes it ideal to explore many nearby ski areas - Kitzbuhl, Wildkogel, Zillertal and Kaprun. The house offers plenty of things to do for kids - pool table, ps4, gaming tables. There is more than enough room for 3 families. Hosts are very hospitable and responsive.

Great house for families - great location
Squeaky clean upon arrival - we stayed here with two families and the place is ideal for such a group. The hosts clearly know what they are doing, the place is well equipped and they did not cut back on spending for equipment. Lots of toys for the kids, which is great if you have to spend a rainy afternoon. Location of the house is also ideal. Close to the main roads but not too close and everything within the Zell am See - Krimml area is reachable within 40 minutes or even less. All in all highly recommended.
