Do not stay at the Countey Inn portion of this property. If you need to, book through the site directly or call and say you will not accept a room toward the back of the property and will only stay in one of the first two buildings. It is downright shameful that they still use the back buildings which are in obvious disrepair and in immediate need of refurbishment. The smell alone is terrifying. I felt unsafe to put it plainly.

Water pressure for showers was very little and hard to get rinsed off. Wish there was a coffee maker in the room instead of waiting till 7am to get coffee or had to go out to get it. All in all we would go back again.

to be fair - I never was able to stay. I accidently booked the wrong night and the facility will not allow you to make changes. $130.00 down the drain. Thanks for nothing. Will NEVER take a look at your facility again. Not even a response so that I might discuss the situation with the mgt. Poor service!!!

The faucet in the bathroom got stuck and the very hot water wouldn't stop. The plumber arrived promptly but the problem was more than could be fixed easily. We could not have a bath. The front desk made vague noises about having booked on the web therefore no compensation of any sort was available.

Depends who you talk to at the desk. The first young woman would not accommodate us to another room when I complained that the air conditioning was full of dirt so that when I turned the fan on I began to cough… and the window could not open. The second woman when I came back to insist asked the younger one why I was put in that room answered “just because I picked it up“. The older one then moved me to another room. Again, the fan was dirty and a housekeeper came to clean the filter. A window did open.

Very beautiful property with many options of spaces to stay! Also a very delicious restaurant and bakery. We loved the history and I couldn’t get enough of the all the unique wallpaper. Things that could be better is knowing how to get around. I’m still confused if there was two restaurants. The buildings are all disconnected so you may have to drive from your room to the main building. It was also difficult to get in and out of the property with the one ways.

The property was a beautiful inn. It was very appealing and quiet. It was hard to find where to go to check in. More signage would be helpful at entrance of property and at the check-in office. I would definitely stay again.
