Awkward keyless entry system

Overall the apartment meat our needs. The unit is a bit small but was functional. The best thing about the apartment was that it's within walking distance from most things. The train station is a 10 minutes walk away and city center is not much farther away. One thing I don't like is their keyless entry system. One day there was an issue with the network and I could not get into my apartment without spending several minutes on the phone with customer service.

Great alternative to hotel in Nuremberg

A fairly new and updated property with all the conveniences including digital keys for all doors, fast wifi, good controllable heating, dishwasher, large fridge, rain shower, balcony, laundry room for pay with an app. Bedding for the sofa bed was also available and ready. This apartment faced the courtyard and was super quiet. Although the property is not in the nicest of areas, it is centrally located, 2 tram stops (3 minute walk to the tram station) from the Central Station and entrance to the old town. A bakery, supermarket and a couple restaurants are a couple of blocks away. The only disappointment was the bed. The most awful “mattress”, if you can call it that, was a thin piece of terrible foam on top of a sofa upholstery. For the cost per night, without any cleaning or change of towels or sheets included, I would expect a decent normal bed with a normal mattress.

Happy to have stayed in EcoSmart Premium. Check in on app is pretty straight forward. Location is convenient with easy access to cental station. Building and room are clean and smart. The only thing disappointment is one missing set of towels as we are three in a room but only two sets are available. Other than that, I'm happy with the stay.

Very Helpful Staff!

Very Nice Modern Place , had a problem with the A/C in my first Room, they promptly sent a Maintenance Man but he couldn’t fix . So the gave me an even nicer room upgradet me to a sweet! Over pretty nice place.

The room was clean, however, there are some functional issues/ experiences worth noting. The smart TV will not let you cast from an iPhone and the English subtitles are not working. The air conditioning is extremely loud and impossible to run for long periods. Coffee machine was smoking after one use. No instructions about how to operate the room features such as external blinds. Shower leaked onto the bathroom floor and heated towel rail was not working. We were unable to load a physical key card on check in and had to use our phones at all times. After we checked in a member of the cleaning staff entered the room. He didn’t say who he was or what he had come into the room for, just left. We emailed the hotel and to their credit they did respond promptly, but we were not confident that this wouldn’t happen because of the defunct check in system so we slept with a chair against the door. This was one of the more expensive accomodations we booked on our trip so we were generally disappointed.

Unfortunately, we cannot call it a smart apartment. We couldn't get into our room when we were in a hurry because the electricity was out. We waited for half an hour for the system to be fixed. It is essential that one officer stays at the hotel at all times.

Pro's: Apartment was easy to find and well located. Wifi worked well, (comfort suite) apartment was relatively spacious. Style of furnishings was ok. Con's: Not so easy to find parking. No reception desk makes it annoying if you have queries. If you check in online (rather than at the terminal in 'reception') you don't get a room key and have to find the webpage on your phone every time you want to open a door, very annoying! Floor to ceiling windows and SKYLIGHT with no covering means room is very light at night and not for someone like me who needs darkness to sleep! (This is on the comfort suite apt.) Microwave (built into the oven) did not work. Cleaners do the bare minimum. Back of oven filthy. Shampoo marks on the bathroom window shade, sofa had stains on.
