Chic Loft over The Azalea Cocktail Bar & Garden

Nestled above The Azalea, a high-end cocktail bar, you will find yourself at the heart of it all at the downtown Summerville Loft. This upstairs loft provides guests with the ultimate experience of downtown living. You will find updated modern amenities to make your stay in our charming hometown a time to remember. You'll be within steps of numerous shops and restaurants, but also only 22 miles from the Holy City of Charleston or your pick of our many islands & beaches that dot the Lowcountry.

The Loft consists of a kitchen, one bedroom and one bathroom space.

Once guests enter the front door, they will be greeted by a living room and fully equipt kitchen. Just off of the living room, guests will find a spacious bedroom to relax in. The bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom.

The studio can sleep three guests. Two guests in the king-size bed and one guest in a rollaway bed. Due to the layout of the space, we ask for all children to be 12+ to stay with us.

Guests will be immersed in our beautiful and quaint downtown.
Along with that brings some potential road noise and city lights outside windows (room darkening drapes available). Additionally, the space is in close proximity to other downtown businesses. There is street parking available for guests to use during their stay. A public parking garage is located around the block as well if guests are interested in that option.

Our Loft is located above a high-end cocktail bar and is located in Historic Downtown Summerville. For our early-to-bed and light sleepers, you may want to be mindful of these items before booking our space. The bar's operating hours are as follows: Tuesday-Thursday, 4 PM-10 PM; Friday & Saturday, 4 PM-11 PM. The bar is also open for Sunday brunch from 10 AM to 2 PM. We have provided a sound machine and earplugs for guests to utilize during their stay if they find that they are needed. In addition, we have worked with the bar's owner, and he has provided an extra layer of insulation between the spaces to minimize as much noise as possible.

Looking to book a stay for a same-day check-in? We may be able to accommodate. Please message us with your trip details, number of guests, and requested dates. We will review the request and see if we can accommodate your stay. Please also let us know your requested arrival time. We do kindly request a minimum of 2 hours to prepare your room. Guests requesting to book on the same day must have good reviews on their profile.

Summerville is “at the heart of it all” as the ideal & central location of the Lowcountry. Summerville sits in the center between downtown Charleston and our historic plantations as well as many local beaches. We are located 22 miles from downtown Charleston and 33 miles from the nearest beach. The Charleston Airport is 12 miles from our listing.

Are your rates negotiable?
Unfortunately, no. You can't put a price on great memories! We extend a 10% discount on all stays 7+ nights or more and a 15% discount on stays 28+ days or more. The discount will automatically be applied at the checkout screen.

I work remotely, is there wifi?
Yes, we provide wifi in all of our listings. We have hosted several remote workers over the years and have not had a report of weak wifi.

Is there anywhere to store luggage before check in or after check out in case I’m not able to check in early or check out late?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept and hold luggage for guests.

We love our furry friends but we ask for guests to make other arrangements for their pets while visiting our home.

We have electronic locks at our listings. Guests will be provided with their unique access code on the morning of their arrival.
