Owner just remodeled and decorator furnished.
Fully stocked with all kitchen accessories including . Access to homeowner Association swimming pools hot pool , golf and other activities
The living room has a soaring ceiling and a fireplace with a 55 inch flat screen mounted on the mantle above.
The living room has a sliding door to balcony for barbecuing and relaxing. A 9 foot long by 8 foot long L-shaped sofa provides comfortable seating for eight people. The dining area has seating for six people.

The spacious kitchen is 12 foot long by 8 foot in width and top the line and appliances.
It is fully stocked with all cooking items you will need
It has dinnerware for eight people along with utensils. and glasses. It also has paper plates and cups for picnics.
It is stocked with hot and cold cereal should you arrive late and want an early breakfast in the morning.
It also has mac & cheese and snacks should you arrive late.

Safety; Each bedroom has smoke alarms. There are also smoke alarms in the hallways kitchen living room and entryway. Fire extinguisher s are on each level. The ambulance,fire and police numbers are posted under the house rules.

We are proud of our home and are owner operators and our cell number is 310-977-8916. So just call us and we can answer any of your questions and we also have a manager that lives 10 minutes away.

Where do I start? I booked this property for a weekend getaway with my wife and friends. I read all the horrible reviews and should have listened to my initial feelings about the hesitation I had booking this property, but decided to give them a chance. Against my better judgement. I paid in full and received confirmation. I even received aditional confirmations as our trip got closer. The day we were suppose to leave, I still hadn't received arrival info regarding access to the property. I messaged the host as instructed by the email. This is where things went sideways. The host responded right away stating they only take reservations through Vacasa. After some more back amd forth, they gave me the access code to the peoprty. I confirmed they had my reservation, and they responded "no". We were not booked there. Immediately, I called the their number to try and sort this out, while in thinking Im not surprised as this has happened to someone else in the reviews. After getting sent straight to voicemaul, I called VRBO directly. I was on the phone with them for 1.5hrs trying to sort this out. They ended up contacting the host. Host said they didn't have an account with VRBO which is insane. They clearly do otherwise we wouldn't have been able to book with them. Then they went on to tell the VRBO rep that VRBO was advertising their listing against their will. I feel these hosts are frauds and just trying to steal people's money. Do not book. VRBO needs to ban these hosts.

Stay in Sun Valley for a charity event.
The stay was good. The property owner was responsive to my questions and once we figured out the fireplace and baseboard heaters, the house warmed up nicely and was a cozy spot for our visit! Looking forward to a future visit.

Great place to access fun area amenities.
Our condo was in a great place for our family reunion to access activities for all ages; namely, bike paths, swimming, easy to get to other Elkhorn village condos where relatives were staying and meeting for dinner. Our host kindly bought us a nice BBQ grill to use before we arrived. The condo current remodeling as mentioned in the Condo description will add to the inside update of painting with lighter colors, ceiling fans for fresh air, lighter colored window curtains opening to view outside, and new carpets and bed covers. It would be nice to see the finished remodel and update. We could see your efforts. Thank you for quickly answering our questions, adding the nice grill to enjoy our guests, and a fair price. The finish of remodeling will greatly improve and lighten up the decor. Thank you.

Terrible! We couldn’t stay even one night. Owner consistently fails to provide for health and safety
This was the absolute worst experience we’ve ever had. Please read the reviews! I really wish we had. Everyone seems to have the same experience. The place is a terrible mess or “double booked” which means Joe hasn’t moved out before arrival and has left it a total mess. We have lots of photos of the fridge full of half eaten food, smoke alarm missing, roof leaks in master bedroom visible human hair on sheets and pillows, pee stains on toilets. Food chunks on the kitchen floor, bathroom towels rumpled up, etc… Joe, the owner, hung up on us and called us names when we politely explained our disappointment. He told us he was living in the property and had left to stay in a hotel the night we arrived and he clearly just left all his food, tools and extension cords laying all over and never even tried to clear out the fridge or freezer. We were forced to find alternative accommodations late night after arrival. We literally did not check in or stay and now the owner is harassing us and telling us we will be charged damages?!? THE worst experience ever and VRBO customer service isn’t doing anything about it either despite the fact that all reviews from past guests report the exact same problems and we couldn’t stay at the property. We did not get a refund and we are being harassed by this owner. Like others have said - if you want to enjoy your vacation to Sun Valley, please avoid this property and Owner Joe, at all costs! Joe doesn’t have one single positive review! He is hostile and rude while he takes your money, even when you don’t stay and then he continues to harrass you after you’re gone.

The location with access to tennis courts and proximity to town were highlights. We had 7 guests and that was most I would recommend. Biggest issue was lack of instructions - we never got the TV or wifi to work properly.

Looks like there was no cleaning done after the last tenant.
For the most part an adequate place to stay because of location and price. I, unfortunately, would not rent this place again. The bathroom was dirty: sink was dirty from previous tenant (male), toilet had not been cleaned, and dried urine on the floor in front of the toilet (male); kitchen not tidy: crumbs on the countertop, sink was a bit dirty; looked like the floors/rugs had not been vacuumed prior to the last tenant. Before I left, I vacuumed all of the downstairs area, cleaned the kitchen, cleaned the bathroom, and wiped down the floor. The cleaning person will only need to make the bed and wash linen and towels.

Unorganized and Poor Communication
Arrived on the day at check-in time after traveling for 15 hours from Hawaii and did not hear from Joe until an hour or so after check-in in 25 degree temperature. Joe finally gave lock box combo and no key was in box. As it turns out, Joe had double-book his condo for that night and thus my family and I were out of a place to stay. On the last night of our stay, another family opened the front door with the lock box combo and entered the condo clearly irate that other people were still in the condo they had paid for. As it turns out, Joe had also double-booked our last night. These issues need to be resolved by Joe. The place was as advertised otherwise, but clear communication about dates and instructions upon arrival need to be made with Joe prior to arriving or expect bad results.

Property Manager Double Booked Us
AVOID BOOKING WITH THIS OWNER AT ALL COSTS. This owner did not check his calendar. He booked someone else that had used AirBnB in our property for the same nights. We showed up like Goldilocks and the three bears and the other renters were settled in and we had to go and find a hotel after driving 6 hours with 10 people late at night. Steer clear of this owner. He didn’t even offer to help. Just said “sorry about that. I can offer you a refund.” Well, that doesn’t our group of 10 find a place to stay in a strange town late at night.
