The decor is adorable and our stay was mostly comfortable but be warned that this property is much older than the photos let on. Also be advised that this is a second story apartment with a fairly steep outdoor staircase entry. There is a very busy street and intersection directly outside of the bedroom windows. The traffic noise is loud and constant day/night with heavy engine revving due to the stop light being at a slight incline. The neighborhood didn’t exactly feel to be the safest and there was a lot of litter outside on the property. The couch is much cuter than it is comfortable and one of the bedroom mattresses seemed to be an air mattress hybrid that we found to be very awkward. Owners had great communication and seemed receptive to suggestions for improvement.

Never Again
I know that when booking this place, it was located on the Eastern side of Tacoma which, if you knew the area well ... it is the poorer side. Next, after booking, I was given more instructions for a third party to place a deposit and information of myself and that where I had gathered the information of the location of the place. This was a renovated apartment that was on the TOP floor which was never mentioned in the description and that was terrible because my husband had knee surgery and had a hard time walking up and down those stairs. The area was to enter the apartment was dirty and those stairs leading up to the apartment felt like someone just nailed them together to help you get up there. The inside of the apartment had a smell to it like someone had cooked inside before we entered. It smelled like Asian cooking of fish and we had to leave right away to air out the apartment. The little couch had so much stain on it and so did the carpet that was on the ground in the living room. They did NOT replace the vertical blinds in the kitchen so it was not only broken but was dirty with food and fingerprints on it. You cannot open the vertical blinds because all the blinds are in different ways. The chairs for the kitchen felt so cheap ... maybe its because I weigh over 250 lbs and if you sit on one of the chairs, it will break right under you. I didn't have the password to the WIFI so I had to contact the person on VRBO message and I can't find where the laundry room is, There was only a key in the kitchen but no instructions on where or how to get to the laundry room. Inside the bathroom, I didn't realize the towels were under the sink, The bathroom fan was FILLED with dust and dirt and I took a picture of that one too. There are closets in the bedrooms and they did NOT have any hangers for you to hang your clothes. I did not use the kitchen utensils or other things since I felt like this place was a cheap apartment building that they tried to spruce it up and rented it out for an VRBO. I had checked hotels or this place and compared prices and this was the same price as the Hamtons at the moment. I wish I would have booked at the hotel than this place. In one of the instructions given by email about this place... there was A HUGE list of rules when staying at this apartment that was located upstairs ... to which no one informed us or it didn't say in this page or the instructions. Would I rent from these people again? Hell NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice apartment in east Tacoma, property manager replied back quickly with my questions and requests. The apartment was stocked with basic items and toiletries.

Clean place and comfortable beds
Very clean. Mostly quiet--just lots of noise from the passing cars, but the beds were very comfortable! Did have some trouble connecting to the wifi, but were overall very pleased with our stay.
