You will be immersed in nature surrounded by 100+ ft trees and can catch a view of the lake from the driveway.
The property was thoughtfully designed and remodeled in the summer of 2024, everything is brand new!
New air-conditioning/heater, and new stainless steel appliances complement the brand-new furnishings.

You will arrive at the perfect blend of a secluded mountain retreat bordering State Forest land at the top of the street paired with easy, walkable access to the best Lake Tahoe and Tahoe City has to offer.

You will experience some of our favorite touches inside like:
The cohesive "Cozy Chic" design that flows thought out.
The custom, super comfy, deep couch in a shade of green that brings the beauty of the trees inside.
The heated tile floor in the bathroom, especially during a crispy cold winter.
The view of endless trees out the bedroom window.

The first floor has an open floor plan living room and kitchen, as well as the bathroom, and upstairs is the cozy bedroom which has a height clearance of 6 ft 3 inches. ~450 sq ft in total.

You are taken care of because this property is thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials to get you started during your stay including things like: a variety of both caffeinated and decaf Coffee K-Cups and tea bags, all the basic spices, single-use condiments like ketchup, soy sauce and siracha, and essential toiletries.

You will enjoy thoughtful extras like: Dual USB-C / Lightning charging cords at each bedside table, yoga mats, board games, a miniature library, a smart tv with all the necessary streaming services available *BYOL* (Bring your own log in).

Check in:
Smart locks are automatically coded to the last 4 digits of your phone number. Your code activates at the time of your check-in and is deleted after you check out.
Check out:
Simply turn off the lights and lock the door on your way out, we will take care of the rest.

House Rules:

We hope our clear and reasonable rules create an environment for everyone to enjoy their stay.

By continuing with your booking you are confirming you have read, understand, and will follow the house rules.

Cleanliness:
Please remove your shoes in the mudroom (entrance hallway), we know Tahoe activities can get messy and the mudroom is specifically designed to keep the rest of the space cozy and clean.
Generally, respect the space as damage or the need for excessive cleaning will result in an additional fee.

Local Law:
Please respect the local ordinances: "Placer County Good Neighbor Policies". These are common sense rules to keep the community safe, clean, and healthy. County fines are assessed to hosts and guests depending on the infraction, host fines due to guest behavior will be passed through to the guest.

Animal Policy:
No Animals Allowed: This means Pets as well as Emotional Support Animals and Serivce Animals. We have a "Host health or safety exemptions for service animals".
Bringing an animal will result in an immediate cancelation of your reservation without a refund and you will be asked to vacate the property.
Outside you may notice other neighborhood pets roaming around the street and through yards, this is quite common for Tahoe, they are not lost, just exploring. Please do not bring them inside.

Smoke-Free Stay:
Our home is a strict no-smoking of any kind zone, including vaping, which helps us maintain a fresh environment. Smoking damage or the need for excessive cleaning will result in an additional fee.

Respect the Peace—No Parties:
Please respect our neighbors and community by keeping noise to a minimum, especially during quiet hours.
Bringing in more guests than are allowed on the reservation or causing a disturbance will result in an immediate cancelation of your reservation without a refund and you will be asked to vacate the property.

Trash:
We take out the trash as part of our cleaning but if you need to take out the trash mid-stay it must go in the bear box containers on our property, this is vital for the safety of the wildlife and the community.

Plumbing:
Please flush only toilet paper and natural waste. Do no flush any sanitary items, wipes, paper towels or your hopes and dreams. Not even if labeled “flushable” (like wipes, etc). Plumbing issues caused by not following this rule will result in additional charges for professional plumbers work.

Cleaning:
Our cleaning fee covers a generous maximum of 1.5 hours of cleaning from our professional cleaner, their average cleaning turnover for the property is a little under an hour. Cleaning time above this will be passed onto the guest at a rate of $100/hr directly paid to our cleaner for a living wage.

Other things to note:

My Fiance and I fell in love with each other and Tahoe at the same time, we actually lived at the house across the street when we got engaged.
