Unfortunately, i do not recommend this property
This is a property with great potentials, unfortunately it is not maintained well. It was dirty. Clumps of dust under furniture and behind doors, windows so uncleaned i asked for Windex to be delivered so that i can clean them. We arrived to see the outside front window pannel shattered. Had to call the property manager to confirm he knew about it. There were pieces of glass on the kitchen floor. We were told it is because of the refrigerator shelf that broke. I asked for a vacuum so i I could clean it. A dirty, barely working machine was delivered... Pros: Beautiful location, within a small community so it makes you feel really safe Kitchen was very well equipped Awesome layout of the house Cons: The house is in a desperate need of thorough cleaning Stained cushions on the sofa Bed was making awful sounds, Window shades not working Poor communication with property manager; we were told the entry code will be sent to us by 3:30pm; we had to call at 4:30 to finally get it. Our comment about cleanliness was absolutely ignored.

Quick weekend getaway
Great location! Patio was perfect for playing card games by the fire. Beds were a little harder than we preferred and pillows not the best. Property was clean! Hot water. Kitchen had everything you could need. Close enough to town and other tourist attractions. We really enjoyed it. Overall, we would come back!

Dirty, poor maintenance
Hd to wait 30 minutes to check in as Prop Mgr was cleaning (poor job). Property is not well maintained, cobwebs and spiders, old linens, dirty glasses in cupboards. Not a place for children at any age, weeds have taken over yard. Windows filthy and filled with dirt, dead insects. Some would not even open. Would not stay here again if it was free, left 1 day early. No emergency contact info on property, even when requested. Sad and ridiculous for price.

This was a great three day getaway and visit with friends we hadn’t seen during the pandemic. Convenient to Taos and all activities therein. We would all definitely stay there again. The house manager was fantastic. The property was great, clean and well cared for. Thanks you premier property and staff.

Nice, but…
This is a nice home in a good location and we enjoyed our time. I will say the couch is very comfy and the heated floors were a nice bonus. However, the beds were the most uncomfortable we’ve ever experienced. Maybe they’re old? Regardless, just be prepared for flat, very firm beds. We were also looking forward to using the fireplace, but there were just three pieces of wood in the house. Yes they had a firewood stack behind the house but since they’d had a recent snow, this stack was covered in snow and wet so we couldn’t use that wood. We ended up having to buy our own in town to use during our stay. We’ve never stayed at a property that didn’t have a notebook of important things to know about the house. This property didn’t have one, so you have to figure things out on your own as you go. Not a big deal, but an information book for the property would be helpful to give you info on how the floor heating works, that the fans work with a remote control, that you don’t need to buy coffee filters, where the extra firewood is, etc. The views are wonderful and it was a nice getaway.

Great stay but needs a couple things
The house was pretty much as described. Liked the location as far as being quiet and close to ski area. The house needed better cleaning , maintenance and restock of kitchen. The house was petty dusty and had cob webs in the light fixture.a. Maintenance of some things including remotes that don’t have battery covers. Kitchen utensils need a restock especially cubs. There were only three cups and a bunch of wine glasses. We would stay here again and probably will.

This property is just as advertised, very nice comfortable with an open living plan. Just watch out for the shower in the master bathroom the hot and cold water in the shower is reversed.

Comfortable
Overall I would say this house was comfortable and met our needs just fine for our week in Taos. We used both bedrooms and the pullout sofa and everyone slept great. There were plenty of extra sheets and blankets which was nice. The property manager and groundsman were also super responsive. There were some small things like... I don't believe the dishwasher works well as the dishes were dirty upon our arrival and we had to clean them before use. There is also not a disposal, which is a bit challenging if you cook in the house. We also had to buy a lot of the things, like soap, detergent, foil, ziplocks, etc... so if you can bring those with you! All in all, it was comfortable for what we were looking for and we would rent again.

Nice place, but a little sparse.
Nice stay. Very roomy and a great kitchen. Outdoor spaces could be tidied up. The furniture is also a bit worn. This was a once a luxury property that has seen better days but is very comfortable.

Overall the house was fine and met our expectations. We really enjoyed stargazing at night on the patio. However, there were multiple wasp nests on the property especially near the doors. One of the kids got stung when we arrived. I contacted the property manager, but they did not send anyone out to help clear the wasps. We were surprised that there was no air conditioning. A few of the window screens were torn, so we could not open the windows for air flow because it would have allowed bugs to come in. The TVs and satellite receiver were unplugged when we got there so we had to figure that out a bit on the first day. The grass on the driveway was overgrown and landscaping could have been better kept up. Otherwise, the location was fine and we could get to all of the places we needed to go. The kitchen, bathrooms, living room, and bedrooms were all just fine for what we expected.

Holiday ski trip in Taos
Overall, this is a nice property in a terrific location. It's about 25 min to Taos Ski Valley and 10-15 min to the town. The home was clean and had everything we needed. It was also in a quiet neighborhood which is nice. We only had two things we noticed. 1. The lighting in the first bedroom is dark, making it hard to see. 2. In the kitchen there is a good selection of dishes and cookware, but the trashcan under the sink was not sliding in and out correctly. For the price, this is a good value, and we would definitely stay again.

Christmas at 21 Buena Vista
We had a great stay in Taos for Christmas. The house was well appointed, and we had just what we needed. From a spectacular sunrise our first morning, to great skiing, a beautiful snow on Christmas eve to a relaxing white Christmas day, we had it all. Can't wait to come back.
