The Space:
Happy Holiday is a rustic tiny home in rural Taromeo, just two hours from the Sunshine Coast. A peaceful countryside experience is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, close to the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail and within reach of Conondale, D'Aguilar, and Bunya Mountains National Parks.

Here, you can unwind to the sounds of native wildlife and enjoy panoramic views of the surroundings

This 139-square-foot accommodation is set in one of the best tiny house rentals and serene locations with abundant natural bushland, easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers).

Happy Holiday is located two hours from the Sunshine Coast in the rural locality of Taromeo. Known for its open landscapes and proximity to Taromeo Station, this region has a cultural background with a practical, no-frills environment. Its setting is ideal for those who appreciate heritage sites and the surrounding bushland. The area oozes authenticity with its quiet farmlands.

Our local recommendations:

- The Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is a 161 km off-road adventure route along the old Brisbane Valley railway line, stretching from Wulkuraka to Yarraman. It offers scenic walking, cycling, and horseback riding experiences.
- The Conondale National Park in Queensland is a diverse park known for its rainforests and waterfalls. Explore attractions like the Conondale Range Great Walk, Booloumba Falls, and the impressive Strangler Cairn artwork.

- The nearest airport is Brisbane Airport. From there, you can rent a car or take a bus for the two-hour drive to Taromeo.

Other Things to Note:
- Wifi is not available
- Charcoal BBQ grill is available
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Smoking is allowed in designated areas on the property
- Please expect limited connectivity as the tiny house is set in a rural locality
- Don’t forget to close the windows and lock doors when leaving the tiny house/ property
- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g., especially chargers)
- Mobile reception has good signals for Optus; Weak signals for Telstra and no signals for the rest
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

Pet Guidelines:

- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas and clean after your pet’s droppings
- Please clean up after your pet’s shedding before checking out courtesy of other guests

Important note:

- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas
- For stays of 5 nights or more (or for bookings of 5 nights or more), an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
