Poor amenities, very bad compared to other properties in Te Anau. Avoid them. Very old and dated rooms, no parking available. Lots of tour companies do block bookings here. No ventilation in rooms. Bathroom much smaller than it appears in photos.
Furniture in the room was very badly positioned.
TV was placed in front of only mirror in room. To add to that the TV was put on the cabinet that housed the fridge and crockery . The kettle was put in this crowded space which made it dangerous to make a cup of tea with water from the kettle.
The bathroom was so small that you could hardly move around
The service from the staff was excellent, very friendly and efficient. Just a slight issue with the room cleaning, carpet not vacuumed and toilet wasn't cleaned with bleach, otherwise the hotel was superb.!!!!.

The hotel does not have good lake view rooms, although the website advertises them. The lake view on the website is not from the hotel site, so the image is misleading.
The hotel overlooks the lake so access to the lake is great but the hotel rooms do not face the lake so views are limited. Not a big deal. The rooms are big and beds very comfortable. We only had a heater which we should have turned off as the room was hot at night. Staff very friendly. Room very clean. I would stay there again.
Clean , warm and spacious .. our room
Had view of car park but the restaurant had a big picture window of the lake . Bit older than some other places , but reasonable value and suited our needs and staff were accommodating when we arrived nearly as breakfast finished

Comfortable Beds but property is old and tired. Wallpaper on walls was bubbling in places, no Netflix etc and generally the place is dated. Staff were not overly helpful and generally seemed disinterested. Ok for the money but don’t expect much.
