Making the most of Markham
Nice hotel not too far from the highway and a little up the road from downtown Toronto. Staff was great, hotel and room were very clean. Everything was good. It was pretty cool that breakfast — which was good with a lot of options — was served on the 14th floor with some nice views.

We paid $320 for a room and they gave us a mattress with the springs sticking out. We asked for a change and they told us they didn't have any more. They only gave us 10 blankets to make the "mattress" more comfortable, which was really a cot. The TV didn't work, the remote never works. But the answer was that it is what it is.

Quite dated, and the room wasnt as clean as one would expect from a Marriott. The bed was clean. Quite disappointed we had to pay Taylor Swift rates for the room, and pay for parking(apparently not included with room rate), even tho we were down for a medical procedure not a concert.

We had a fabulous stay! Couldn't believe there was a dishwasher right in our room, as well as a full kitchen. The pool was great, staff were friendly and made my grandson feel very grown up, breakfast was delicious and plentiful...
