Maalaismainen eristys lähellä Capitol Reef National Park

Eristetty, mutta lähellä palveluita. Äskettäin päivitetty koti 6. 7 hehtaarin päässä moottoritieltä 24. Vain 4 minuuttia länteen Torreyn ravintoloista ja muista palveluista. Ympäröimä avoin tila, josta on upeat näkymät Thousand Lake -vuorelle, Boulder-vuorelle ja Henry-vuorille. Lähin naapuri on yli mailin päässä! Siellä on palo kuoppa ja hiiligrilli, kun tarve kokee keittää ulkona tai vain pysyä lämpimänä tulella tähdet. Ei naapureita = ei valoja = loistava stargazing. Upeita valokuvia kaikkiin suuntiin!

Valoisa, avoin keittiö ja ruokailutila. Liesi ja kiertoilmauuni ovat vanhempia, mutta ovat kypsenneet helposti kaiken, jotta voidaan järjestää kiitospäivän illallisia 10: lle.

Erinomainen lapsille, jolla on paljon tilaa, leluja ja pingispöytä pelihuoneessa. Vanhempi stereo (opeta lapsillesi, mitä kasetit ovat!) ja uusi 48 tuuman tv plus dvd-soitin (meillä on myös VHS-soitin ja joitain nauhoja, lisätietoja historiasta). Olohuoneessa sijaitseva antiikki-tv ja radio eivät toimi, mutta voivat osaltaan auttaa myös historiaa.

Mahtavia pyörä- tai mönkijäretkiä, luontoretkiä ja polkua kulkee heti etuovesta (hämmästyttävä 17 mailin maantiepyörän silmukka Cockscombin alla tai ~ 12 mailin juoksusilmukka vanhalla kaatopaikalta) ja tietenkin Capitol Reef National Park ja monet monet muut luonnon ihmeet ovat helposti saavutettavissa lyhyen ajomatkan päässä. Pyöräilylenkki oli Utah-vaiheen 2 viimeistä kierrosta vuonna 2016.

Torreyssa on sekä kausiluonteisia että ympäri vuoden sijaitsevia ravintoloita 2 mailin päässä. Hyvä pizza, hampurilaiset, lounaisruoat kaikki nopean ajomatkan päässä.

Rentoudu ja anna kotisi olla kotisi tukikohta arvostaaksesi joitain Wayne Countyn luonnollisia ihmeitä.

Unbeatable location
Absolutely gorgeous location, stunning views in every direction, feels like you’re miles from anyone else. We came for stargazing and the night sky was incredible. We loved the huge deck and comfy patio furniture - we sat outside for hours. We did a couple short scenic drives but mostly we didn’t want to leave! Everything was so comfortable … kitchen was clean and roomy with new appliances, Wi-Fi was as good as home (we had to do a bit of work during our stay), nice clean bathrooms, hot showers, plenty of blankets and towels, one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. Torrey was so fun as well, we loved Etta Place Cider, and Hunt and Gather restaurant was phenomenal. We got coffee from Shooke and Dark Sky and both were great. From feeling like you’re living in total isolation, to gourmet food 5 minutes away 😋 Hope to be back soon!

We loved this property! It was cozy, clean, and perfect for our family (our 9, 7, and 2 year old kids loved it.) It felt like home: clean and welcoming, but well worn (in the best ways.) We were just a few minutes from Capitol Reef, which was beautiful. And the restaurants in Torrey were great. While we were at the house we played ping pong, watched movies, laid out on the patio to watch the stars, cooked, grilled, and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Sean was helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Family reunion trip
This was the perfect property us to attend a large family reunion in nearby Lyman, UT. We had three elderly couples and a couple of adult children get together. The house is not fancy, but it had everything we needed. The best part is how isolated it sits from neighbors. We loved sitting out on the deck in the evening until it was really dark. The night sky was amazing without any light pollution. We were able to Capital Reef National Park, Boulder Mountain and other local hiking locations. Sean was a great host. Perfect place to use as a base camp to explore some of the most stunning natural beauty in Utah.

Not just an oasis, it’s a gem!
Six of us friends enjoyed our visit to Capitol Reef National Park so much, thanks for the comfort and convenience of this house provided us. The owner has stocked the house more than my own home. We felt so relaxed and enjoyed all the convenience such as the big kitchen, the laundry room, the deck and the ping pong table in the basement. The WiFi worked just like downtown! Thank you!

Rustic charmer with great views
This home was perfect for our multi-generational group aged from 13-82. The location near Capitol Reef and Torrey made it a perfect launching point for exploring Utah’s parks. The beds were all comfortable and we were able to rest easy after our days of hiking and exploring. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The game room was great for our teens. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The views from the property are phenomenal and the area gave us plenty of options for dining and adventure.

Quiet home on a beautiful setting
We loved our stay at this home. Remote and beautiful but with easy access to Capitol Reef National Park. Well stocked and comfortable. The deck was especially wonderful. We sat outside a lot and enjoyed the beauty and the quiet. We were warned that GPS wouldn’t work and it was a little hard to find, but the owner was immediately responsive when I called and then it was easy. I highly recommend this rental. I wish we could have stayed longer.

We specifically chose this house due to its location, which was far away from any other house. It was exactly what we were hoping for and had a very peaceful few days stay. Very clean and had everything we needed. We had no cause to contact the owners but they made themselves available to us if we had needed their help with anything. We appreciated being able to bring our two dogs with us.

Very remote but perfect!
Straight out of the 60s with some modern updates. Truly felt like staying at someone's home, not a VRBO. Very well equipped. Fit into the area perfectly. Situated between the "Big 5" if you don't mind driving a couple hours to a couple of the parks. Make sure you arrive before dark though your first day...not well lit and set very far off the road (owner will provide a map). Otherwise, a great place to stay!

Southern Utah Road Trip, Part 2.
We are a 3 adult couples traveling together on a road trip of Southern Utah, including the 5 NP's, some state parks, and a few NM's. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Sean was very helpful, and we really enjoyed the somewhat eclectic furnishings. Particularly the 50's era Admiral TV and the classic RCA consul radio. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the countryside beautiful.

We were so excited to spend the week here and everything met our expectations. Communication was perfect, from start to finish, owners were very receptive to messages. Property was quirky, but we absolutely loved it and so did our dogs. It’s quiet, away from people, and the views couldn’t have been better! they did a phenomenal job updating the kitchen, it really was open, with double doors to the deck. There was even half and half in the fridge for us, and a little extras here and there that were nice touches. Hands-down we would stay here again and again!!

Rustic Torrey House
Our group of ten enjoyed this Torrey home. Many different areas to hang out in the house. The beautiful views were enhances with a dusting of snow one morning. A short scenic drive to Capital Reef National Park. We lit up the outdoor fire pit to admire the night skies.
