Bar Harbor View Cottage on täydellinen paikka seuraavalle matkallesi Maineen. Sinusta tulee ilo, kun näet kanneltamme ensin upeat panoraamanäkymät Acadian kansallispuistoon ja sen vuorille. Varmista, että nouset ajoissa auringonnousun vuoksi, koska näet sen nousevan Cadillac-vuoren yli.

Voit havaita villieläimet edes poistumatta tuolistasi. Saatat nähdä kotkia, hylkeitä, delfiinejä, peuroja ja hirviä. Voit jopa viedä kajakkejamme lahden yli nähdäksesi tiivisteet läheltä ja henkilökohtaisesti. Mökin lähellä oleva vesi on täynnä simpukoita.

Lapset (kaiken ikäiset) rakastavat runsaasti tasaisia kiviä rantaviivaa pitkin, jotka ovat täydellisiä hyppäämiseen, ja räätälöityä pingispöytäa autotallissa.

Mökissä on neljä makuuhuonetta, joissa mahtuu yhdeksän, WiFi-yhteys, panoraamanäkymät, hyvin varustettu keittiö, autotalli, runsaasti pysäköintitilaa, pingispöytä, useita kajakkeja, kaasugrilli ja upea kansi, joka sopii erinomaisesti rentoutumiseen.

Pääkerroksessa on master-sviitti viereisellä kylpyhuoneella, toinen makuuhuone queen-vuode, keittiö, olohuone, ruokailutila, den, pesutupa ja toinen kylpyhuone. Siellä on myös liitetty autotalli. Toisessa kerroksessa on kaksi makuuhuonetta. Yhdessä on kaksi erillistä vuodetta ja toisessa on queen-vuode sekä erillinen parivuode.

Olemme noin 16 mailin päässä keskustasta Bar Harbor.
Tämä loma-asunto sijaitsee lähellä kohdetta Thompson Island Information Center. Majoituspaikka tarjoaa asiakkaille esimerkiksi pelihallin/-huoneen. Loma-asunnossa tarjoaa asiakkaiden käyttöön muun muassa keittiön ja 2 kylpyhuonetta.

Awesome view!
Beautiful location with a view of the harbor. It was cold when we were there but could enjoy the view on a clear day. If it had been warmer, we would've enjoyed using the kayaks right off the property. Home had everything we needed. If staying in the off season, check restaurants since many were closed.

Magical
A Christmas Blessing. We spent our holiday by the Ocean and you can’t get any closer than this beautiful home. It is spacious yet cozy. We live in Northern Maine near the Canadian border, so being in Trenton we were able to be near family and had a wonderful Christmas dinner together. This home is stocked extremely well. We will return for sure. Loved it. Precious memories.

Perfect Stay to Get Away
The property is absolutely perfect! It is away from things but oh so close to Ellsworth and Bar Harbor that you can seamlessly switch back and forth from nature to town. The view and wildlife (the seal was a checklist item for us) were outstanding and the fireplace was absolutely amazing when the cold and early dark evening closed in. I would highly recommend a stay at this wonderful house when you are looking for an escape and some tranquil peace.

Wow, what a nice place. Very very well equipped kitchen (even sharp knives!). We enjoyed the fireplace, the view, the quiet area, comfortable bed, the overall look of the place. Was obviously way too big for the two of us, we used only one third of the house!

Excellent ! Our second time at this place. Wish we'd discovered it years ago. So many good things ... the room with the sideboard from the estate of Victoria and Albert's son ... the very fine room arrangement ... peaceful and quiet ... fine views outside ... the games for the kids ... the fireplace, which we used ... You can’t beat the location of this house, sitting right on blue Hill Bay looking across to MDI. The house itself is very comfortable, extremely well appointed and quickly feels like a second home. Were signed up for next summer! Location feels very private, but just 15 minutes from Acadia. Perfect vacation spot!

Great time
The view is great. Lots of space inside. Fully stocked kitchen. The kayaks were easy to get in the water and fun to paddle around. Everyone had a great time. 15 mins to Acadia visitors center. 10 mins to food shopping. If you like crab rolls you have to try YU take-out in Hancock.

A great place!
This is a great family place! All is as advertised and commented on by other vacationers. Note the shore is as pictured. Rough and stony! We have 2 grandchildren: 8 and 11: new to kayaking! What a treat that two of the 5 kayaks available were two passenger! My complaint: the cockpits are bit small for us 6’2” 70 yr olds, so…I landed in the water attempting to exit the kayak I was in. All part of the adventure. So well equipped, boots, life jackets, paddles; all added a wonderful dimension to our stay! A small point but..it rained like crazy the morning of our departure and I was able to back our van into the garage for dry packing Wonderful quiet location, not much wave action but a gentle shore and wonderful view! If you are ok with the location, it is a wonderful place! Be ok with the location: 30-40 minutes to the prime locations in Acadia and Bar Harbor, but… away from the madding crowds and near fantastic Lobster Pound Restaurants, Try them all! Spacious, bright, well equipped, great deck and boats! Worth every penny!

Beautiful property with breathtaking views
The property was a perfect place for an extended family vacation to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The house was full of all the amenities we needed! The view from the back deck was breathtaking and the house felt secluded. We enjoyed use of the kayaks and even saw a bald eagle a couple of times. We enjoyed the house immensely. This beautiful cottage on the water was well stocked with everything. The newly added 3rd bathroom was a welcomed surprised. We took advantage of the provided kayaks to explore the Narrows and view the Harbor Seals. A great generational family vacation!

Stunning views close to everything!
This home has an incredible view, and was a perfect fit for our family of six. The kayaks were wonderful for exploring, and the long private driveway was perfect for morning runs before our adventures in Acadia. We loved the ‘quirk factor’ of the house and appreciated how well-stocked it was! It is definitely a special spot, and one we would love to return to.

Great group location
We are a group of older couples from different parts of the country who get together once or twice a year. This time oir destination was Maine and BHVC was wonderful. Multiple locations, in and out, for different activities and conversations. The deck is perfect too. The kitchen is well supplied for when we wanted to cook in. The game table was very handy for our obligatory jig saw puzzle. Having a fire on one of the cool rainy days was very nice. All this with beautiful views from inside and out. There was plenty of parking for all of our vehicles. Coincidentally, this place is great for getting around on a knee scooter since I severely fractured my ankle a couple months ago. Getting into and around the house, even out to the deck, is quite easy. A wonderful place and a wonderful stay.

Stunning views of the ocean and mountains. Very quiet and private. Close to Arcadia National Park. This is exactly what we were looking for. Very much enjoyed our stay and hope to return next year.

Spectacular
For a girls reunion which we do yearly, this house was perfect. Upon driving down the driveway we loved the privacy of it. Upon approaching the house, discovering the view was thrilling. The first thing we noticed after entering was just how well equipped this house was for any eventuality including emergencies. It was spacious, clean, with awe inspiring views. There was nothing about it we didn’t love. There was enough chopped wood to last an entire winter. We experienced a late season nor’easter while there which was thrilling. Being confined to the house for a full day presented no problem at all. A tree had fallen across the driveway but the house manager was there pronto and removed it with no issues. Would definitely return again, maybe in summer next time although we thought it was perfect now. We do recommend the Stephen King tour in Bangor during your visit.

Desert Island View Cottage
The View Cottage was perfect for two couples who have been friends for 30 years. We stayed in the 2 bottom floor bedrooms. Spring weather was expected and we did get that. Our arrival day was wet than the next days were beautiful. We hiked in the park and photographed the Milky Way 2 nights. We drove to Island Falls on Monday for a perfect day with the local folks and watched the total eclipse of the sun. Rainy days came again later. The storm was blustery and wonderful. We did have a great time!

good place in Trenton
it was wonderful. big, very very clean and classy. Easy to heat with just the fireplace (from big storm, electricity was down for two days!) Well designed ! Kids fit in easily. Grandparents fit in easily. Stephen & Stacy fit in easily. Trenton is a fine location for quick access to Mt. Desert Island. We definitely recommend the place ! Oh, I could mention the generator, which powered the place.

Loved this place!
We stayed here in November and had the best time. The house was perfect for us, plenty of room, stocked with everything we needed and the view was amazing. It was a short distance to Acadia and we even had a chance to see the drive thru Acadia Holiday light show for the holidays. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to be back soon!
