Juuri valmistunut heinäkuussa 2018! Oceanside Lodge -huoneiston Alder-mökki on upea ja rentouttava - sekä sisätiloissa että hehtaarilla merinäköalalla. Nauti merinäköalalta kutsuvalta, luonnollisesti valaistuilta oleskelu- ja ruokailutiloilta ja tilavalta makuuhuoneelta king-vuoteellasi! Queen-vuodesohva sopii toiselle vieraalle. Käytä BBQ-ryhmääsi ja istu ulkona upeaan illalliseen omalla kannella. Kävele bluffiin nähdäksesi auringonlaskun Tyynenmeren yli, pelaamaan hevoskenkiä ja tehdä muistoja! Nyt myös kylpytynnyri!

TÄRKEÄÄ: Kaupunkimiehistöä kohti hänen kotinsa edellyttää, että Vacasa järjestää Meet & Greet -tapahtuman vieraiden ja paikallisen henkilökunnan välillä. Meet & Greetin aikana tarkistat Trinidadin "Hyvä naapuri" -käytännön ja saat tärkeitä tietoja kodista (pääsykoodi, mukavuudet jne.) The sea of tranquility!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible ocean-side cottage nestled among the towering redwoods, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The views were absolutely breathtaking – the cottage overlooks the rugged coastline, with the mist rolling in from the ocean, making for a truly magical atmosphere, especially with the stormy weather during our stay. Watching the waves crash against the cliffs while surrounded by the serenity of the redwoods was a highlight of our trip.While the weather was a bit stormy during our visit, it only added to the charm and cozy vibe of the cottage. The sound of the rain and wind outside was so peaceful, and the warmth inside made it feel like the perfect escape.A special shout-out to the property manager, who was exceptional! We noticed a minor ant issue upon arrival, and though it wasn’t a big concern, we appreciated how quickly and efficiently the manager handled it. They were responsive, professional, and made sure everything was taken care of immediately, ensuring our stay was smooth and comfortable.This cottage is truly a gem, offering a perfect blend of nature, tranquility, and excellent service. We can't wait to return for another stay!

Beautiful!

Alder Cottage was the perfect place to stay for our trip to hike in the Redwoods! The home was comfortable and had all we needed. We were serenaded by sea loins and the views of the ocean from the cottage are amazing!

Redwoods adventure

Perfect place to stay. Bed was very comfortable, cabin was "just right". The only issue we had was the outside furniture had not been cleaned before our arrival. The inside was very clean and perfectly furnished.

absolutely wonderful!

This cute cottage is exactly as advertised! Perfect location with lots of forest and beach trails within a 1 hour drive. Very convenient short drive to Trinidad downtown with a grocery store and several options to grab a bite to eat. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Epic Birthday Stay

The property was very quiet and easy to find and parking was excellent. The places was very clean and comfortable. We cooked there almost every night for dinner. What a special place to stay for a birthday. The sea lions were lovely, signing a new song each night. Great sunset and wonderful moonlight view in front of the living room. Everything was very nice and hoping to return with a bigger family next year!

If you want a jacuzzi this might not be the place

Read below for reason of 3 star review. I usually stay at the Boathouse but thought it would be fun to have a jacuzzi this time. The house is roomier than it appears to be from the outside. It is decorated darling and was very clean and comfy. The grounds are beautiful and it was very enjoyable. My issue was the jacuzzi. The first night we arrived we were exhausted and jumped in and enjoyed. The second night I noticed a tinge of green but was not sure if it wasn’t caused by the jacuzzi lights. We then noticed a nasty smell and promptly got out. I noticed the “ change filter button was blinking. I called the property manager and she could not send anyone out until the next morning. The guy showed up early as promised. He told us he could empty the jacuzzi but it might not be ready to use before we left. He said he could clean the filter and put chemicals in. He said the change filter light always blinks and that is just how the water in the area smells. That night we jumped in and promptly got out again. The smell was horrible. We have both washed and soaked our suits 5 times and the smell will not come out. My lining has a green tinge. If you do not care about a jacuzzi then I highly recommend this place. If you are wondering why we even got in we were wondering the same. Vacation mode I guess !

Darling little place

This was very restful vacay for us. The cottage was so cute, clean and comfortable. The bed was great! It wasn’t quite as close to the ocean as I thought from the pics and mobility challenged people would have trouble gettto the bluff. Met the owners who were lovely people. We would definitely stay again and hopefully bring the rest of the family as there are other buildings on the same property.
