Donner Lake House

Tila jopa 14 vieraalle, tämä upea kuuden makuuhuoneen Donner Lake -pako tarjoaa upea näköala järvelle, runsaasti tilaa vaeltaa ja kuvan-täydellisen sijainnin kadun toisella puolella Donner Lake West End Beachin osavaltion puistosta! Ja kun kaikkien on aika suunnata sänkyyn, kodin kuudessa makuuhuoneessa on tilaa 14 vieraalle. Erityiset vuoteet sisältävät yhden king-vuoteen, kolme queen-vuodetta, kuusi kaksoset ja futon.

Muita mukavuuksia ovat useita täysi kylpyhuone (kolme), pesukone ja kuivausrumpu sekä stereot. Family Fun @ Donner Lake
Large open living/kitchen/dining area was great! Lots of seating. Well stocked kitchen (But needs more than 2 kitchen towels and 4 dishwasher soap pods) Plenty of bathroom towels. Great location! Short walk to the lake/beach/playground etc. and close to good hiking. Enjoyed the photo albums telling the story of the home. WIfi was so-so. Overall it is a great home and large enough to accommodate our whole family. Will definitely come back again. Thanks

Wish Vacasa had been more accommodating. Due to severe weather we tried to alter our dates that we were staying. And they have a 7 day lock period. When you cannot alter dates or get refunded. So we had to pay for 2 nights and only stay one night.

Wedding Party
We came up for our daughter’s wedding in Truckee and this was the perfect house. It had a large kitchen and living room with a beautiful vaulted ceiling and enough bedrooms for all of us! Would love to stay here again.

Was great, loved the place. One small improvement that would make better is to have common things like sandwich bags, aluminum foil, Saran Wrap etc. not a huge deal but would be a nice touch as other places I’ve rented have a stock of those types of things.

Great location and house
We had a great time. We received a call on our drive there that the oven didn’t work. When we arrived the code given was incorrect and thankfully I had received a call from the property manager earlier in the day regarding the oven as that was the only way to reach a person to get the correct code. I was never given a number to call for help of any sort otherwise. If I didn’t have that number we could have been stranded, with kids, for hours. I also sent about 5 messages using the app on VRBO leading up to the trip and those were never replied to. So, the owner should definitely switch property management companies. Aside from that, the house itself couldn’t be better. It’s large and location is amazing!

Great house would definitely stay again. Only issue the oven didn't work and couldn't get thru for maintenance to get it fixed lucky we could use the grill for our cooking needs. Still great house and experience.

Overall we enjoyed the upstairs, we did not like the down stairs. The living room T.V didn’t work. The washing machine is broken. They touch up the paint on the railing with spray paint and got it all over the walls. The owner came by and visited and planted some flowers. This house just wasn’t meant for my family.

Perfect family getaway
We have large family and home accommodated us all. Just catty corner to entrance if West End Beach. No packing up chairs or trying to find elusive parking spot. Fully equipped kitchen. Tons of room upstairs for kids to play. Nice outside deck. Filtered view of lake. We plan on coming back next year.

Perfect and peaceful retreat for Family and Friends
I have been coming to this cabin for over 25 years with my family for a week every summer, but this is the first time I've been in more "winter" weather (still snow on the ground) and with friends. It was INCREDIBLE!! The upstairs living area is a beautiful, open-space where laughter, games and cooking and gathering as a group is a constant and natural occurrence. And the balcony....it is one of my favorite places - trees and birds and quiet serenity with glimpses of the lake - just lovely! There are plenty of rooms with comfortable, cozy accommodations to fit multiple families at a time! Our kids all had their first "sleepover" together in the bunk (boys) and trundle (girls) rooms! There is a small side yard where we have played many different games in the summer, but on this trip the Dads created a small sledding hill that the kids played on for hours and built snowmen and dug snowball fighting "forts". All in all, this house has always been my favorite place to visit and we hope to make this gathering an annual one as well!

This is not a 6 bedrooms house. Great view but
I travel to Tahoe very often and it was first time when I stayed at house where I feeling like in poor motel. House has two absolutely different first and second floors. Second floor is really gorgeous but first floor has fake 5 bedrooms. All rooms are pretty tiny and one of them not a room. It just 1/2 of standard room with ~100 square ft. We booked this home for 6 families but one our friend decided no stay their because 2 adult people can't sleep there. Rooms are dirty, have old mattresses and furniture, some windows have broken open/close adjustment system, power outlets and nightstands did not work. Internet did not work when 2 and more people have been connected. When we tried connect with host (Vacasa) they responded that local manager connect with us shortly but no one connect with us next 3 days. Officially this House have 3 full bathroom but it really one full bathroom in a master bedrooms, 2 toilets and showers in first floor. Wash-hand stand in common area and this does not provide any privacy. It is really inconvenient. I would not recommend stay on this property and definitely frustrated that Vacasa makes such weird and unprofessional business

Lovely November stay
My husband was retiring and I wanted to plan a memorable retirement celebration for him. I invited 9 other friends and family to stay with us, all of whom love to play board games and that's what we did, almost non-stop. November is between summer and winter season so there weren't a lot of people around, very quiet and peaceful. The house has an unusual layouts, with small, rather dark bedrooms on the bottom floor, but the upstairs is lovely which is where we spent most of our time. Whoever did the decorating did a wonderful job. While not enough to ding on stars, this could be improved - figuring out which outdoor door to use was confusing and there is no doorbell. When one knocks on the door, it can't be heard from the upstairs, so instruct everyone coming beforehand to call or just walk in. Also you walk in on the bedroom floor and must climb stairs to reach the living area. Not a problem for most, just keep in mind if someone in your party has difficulty with stairs. Overall everyone in our group had a fabulous time staying here.

Had a great time! Plenty of room for five couples - great room is huge. Well stocked for a large group of friends. I think I counted over 50 coffee cups in the cupboards - supported by two Mr Coffee pots.

Fabulous home for my lege family. We loved the open area where all the action happened.
The location to the lake was perfect. So many positives- plenty of parking, cleared out garage, living seating plenty, well equipped kitchen. Not so good- dirty kitchen cabinets years of grime, lack of lighting in living room, not enough kitchen towels for 4 day stay. A good cleaning would bring this to a 6 star for sure.

Beautiful location and gorgeous cabin
Overall, we had a blast. The cabin was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and in a great location! We had a wonderful time there, and would undoubtedly recommend this place to our friends. Our only criticism is that there were only partial rolls of TP in each of the bathrooms without any other rolls available to replenish. Also, the rental info on the cabin says that there is complimentary soap and toiletry items. There was neither! Had to go out and buy hand soap for the bathrooms and bars of soap for the showers.
