Tervetuloa Hale Mauka, meidän "koti vuorilla". Kolmen makuuhuoneen, kahden kylpy talo on todella meidän toinen koti Tahoe Donner. Olemme ylpeitä voidessamme jakaa sen teidän kanssanne koko vuoden.

Hale Mauka voi mukavasti nukkua kahdeksan vierasta. Alakerran päällikkö sviitissä 42in TV on alas sali täydellinen keittiö. Yläkerrassa, "lastenhuoneeseen" sisältää kaksi kerrossänkyä ja pari Fat Boy säkkituoli jakkarat löhöilyyn. Muut yläkerran huoneessa on 42in TV ja queen bed. Koko olohuone ja ruokailutila yhdistyvät antaa paljon tilaa perheille venytellä ja rentoutua koko päivän nauttien Tahoe ympäristöstä. On puuhella ja olohuoneessa, että voi lämmittää koko kodin; jalkalistat lämmittimet ja ilmankostuttimet ovat myös jokaisessa huoneessa edelleen kontrolloida lämpötilaa.

En halua kokonaan irrottaa, kun olet poissa? Ei hätää - nopea internetyhteys on mukana sekä ilmainen WiFi vieraille. Kolme LCD Smart televisiot (55in olohuoneessa, 42in kaksi makuuhuonetta) on sisäänrakennettu Netflix / Hulu / Amazon Prime liitännät, joten voit suoratoistaa videoita sydämesi kyllyydestä. Olohuoneessa TV myös HD kaapeli syötteen, jotta voit katsella suuria urheilupelit reaaliajassa. Mac Mini on parvi yhdessä AirPrint-yhteensopiva tulostin, joten voit surffailla netissä tai edes hakemaan työtä tarvittaessa.

Sijaitsee Alder Creek Road, se on yksi ensimmäisistä kulkuväylät Tahoe Donner päästä aurattu, joka tarjoaa selkeitä pääsy lumiseen kohteisiin. Tahoe Donner laskettelukeskus alue on 5 minuutin päässä, samoin kuin Alder Creek Adventure (Cross Country / Equestrian) keskus. It has everything we need

We had a great stay. Cabin is just the perfect size for our family. It has all the things we needed. Good communication with host. Bed is comfortable. Kids enjoyed sledding at the back. Highly recommended.

Great Stay In Donner

My wife and 2 kids (3 and 2) had a great time at this location. Did a little sledding in the backyard, skiing at Donner ski hill (couple minute drive), sledding at the main sled hill on Northwoods and went to some good restaurants in the area. The location was perfect for our little getaway.

A Perfect Trip to the Snow!

This is our second year coming to Hale Mauka for a winter trip and both times have been wonderful! The cabin is cozy, the backyard is a sledder’s dream, and Ed and Bernadette are helpful and caring hosts. Five stars!!

Perfect Mountain Home

This was the perfect place to stay with my young children and inlaws. The downstairs bed/bath gave the inlaws some space and privacy (and us some distance from snoring ;P) while the upstairs bunkroom and 2nd bedroom/bathroom was ideal for us and the kids. The common living/dining area was cozy and the backyard was great for sledding with little kids. Also the property is close to many ski options, and the property as a whole was very clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay again!

Great Stay

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at this property. The house was extremely clean. We all slept well. It’s very close to Sugarbowl where we have passes. Easy access to Safeway too. If you want take-out, not many places deliver so be prepared to pick up or just enjoy dinner out.Great communication with property owner and plenty of dry wood and kindling for the fireplace.Just two items to note: Alder Creek is a busy street and not appropriate to walk on. We enjoy walks in the neighborhood and to hiking trails. Not recommended here. Better to drive. Also, during the winter, there can be a lot of ice on the stairs leading to the house from the garage. Proceed with caution, especially when you are carrying something like wood from the garage to the house. All in all a great stay! We definitely recommend this home for families.

Excellent Location

We stayed for one week over the New Years and had a wonderful time. The home is in a prime location for snow play. My kids had a wonderful time playing in the snow and sledding everyday. The home is well stocked with everything we needed. Ed communicated with us before and during our stay. I would not hesitate to book this home again for our next trip to Truckee.

Great spot

Great value. Not fancy, but very friendly and welcoming place. Perfect for a family trip. Clean. Kids loved the games; we did a puzzle. Only issue was an issue getting the PS3 controllers to work, but probably for the best as kids had no excuse to be inside…

Western States Base Camp

We used Hale Mauka as our base residence for the Western States 100, and it worked out perfectly. It was an easy commute to Palisades (Olympic Village) for pre-race events and to race start. Truckee was right down the hill and had everything we needed. The residence was comfortable and clean and exactly what the pictures showed and was described. Had everything needed to serve large meals if so inclined to do so. The locals (bear, deer, racoons, and coyotes) wandered by to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Hale Mauka really made our experience in the Tahoe area so relaxing and carefree.

Perfect for our family getaway to Tahoe Donner

Our family of six: two grandparents two parents and two young kids could not have found a better place to enjoy our four-day weekend at Tahoe Donner. It was clean, comfortable, and at all the necessities we could’ve asked for with a nice view of the skyline and quick access to Tahoe Donner ski area. We appreciate that there was ample games, play equipment, and easy, check-in checkout processes. Would absolutely stay here again.

Tahoe Ski Weekend

We had a great time and enjoyed the home. A few issues w the description of the home online as it said it had a hot tub but did not. Also said it had multiple humidifiers but only found 1. I let owners know so they could get both things addressed for next renters. Kitchen is adequate in some ways but lacking in other ways Overall a nice place to stay.

Great house for a family

Cute little house and is great for a family. Backyard has a great sledding hill for the kids. Bedrooms are well laid out too and the kids loved having the bunkbeds. We’ve already booked the house again for the summer so we can enjoy the yard and area then too! Owners had great communication as well. Always responded within a half hour to any of our questions leading up to the trip, or during the trip. Thanks again!

Home away from home

This was our 4th time here and it just feels so great returning. We love it every year. It is the perfect spot for our family. The house is cozy and has everything you need. The backyard is the best! Hours of endless fun! We can't say enough about this place. Looking forward to next year.

A Perfect Trip to the Snow!

We absolutely loved our stay in Hale Mauka! The cabin is roomy but cozy, beautifully decorated, and with extremely comfortable beds. The highlight for us, though, was the backyard. We have gone to the Tahoe Donner area for several years now to play in the snow with our children and grandchildren. The sledding in the backyard was the best of any place we’ve been!! Amazing! As was the space for building snow forts and snowmen and having friendly snowball fights. We have already reserved for next year and can’t wait to go back. 5 stars!!!

High maintenance house in a great location

Great location with less than 5 minutes drive to downhill and cross country ski areas. This is a very complicated and high maintenance house. There are two stair cases to reach the front door (which you have to use at least two times a day to carry all your equipment and kids). Physically it’s very demanding to carry the logs to maintain the stove that heats the house. It seems that some of the items may have met their time limit during our stay - washer, hairdryer, tea kettle, front door lock. Although we’ve got help to fix those things, you don’t want to spend your vacation dealing with issues every day. If you’re coming in the winter, make sure you know how to operate wood stove.

Selected this property for the snow play for young children right outside. Comfortable accomodations for 5 adults and 2 children. Older property, but in good condition and clean. Good communication with homeowner. Fun time!

Snow much fun!

This is our 3rd time coming and we could not believe all the snow. We had a blast in the backyard and used the guest passes for skiing at Tahoe Donner, which was kid friendly. The house has everything you need and more. Ed is easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We are looking forward to next year. (Or Maybe late Spring with all this snow)

Buried In Snow

I stayed at this property during a huge snow storm and it worked out well. The driveway and roads are plowed daily. The pathway was mostly shoveled and the cabin stayed warm with the baseboard heaters and wood stove. The neighborhood is very quiet and it’s close enough to several restaurants that you can still eat out with snowy roads. The downside is you park at the bottom and have to carry everything upstairs and the wood stove needs a new door seal. The upside is very clean, comfortable couches, big TVs, great location and very nice and responsive owners.
