Valtournenche also has a stop for the ski bus, which runs every 20 minutes (in winter) to take you to the town’s ski lifts. Skiing in the fresh mountain air is a true balm for the soul, heart, muscles, and lungs!

The Valdostan menu features several traditional dishes like the famous carbonade, not to be confused with Roman carbonara.
