We liked the sky train access and the cost of the night. The kids enjoyed the pool. There was a limited taxi availability early in the morning to catch a flight.

River Rock & Casino Resort is very convenient place to stay, close to everything like shopping & dining. It’s nice and clean, the staff are amazing and friendly. Glad we pick this hotel to stay for the night before our flight.

It’s close to the airport that’s the plus and the rooms are nice. A facility charge is just stupid and the restaurants mostly can only be accessed through the casino which you are required to show ID everytime is also stupid.

Stay at the hotel for New Years with my family. Receptionist was nice and friendly and allowed us to check in early. Pool was nice and beautiful but water could be a bit warmer given the cold weather. But there was a hot tub. There was free parking which is a plus. Chinese restaurant at the hotel was fantastic and price was reasonable. Will definitely stay here again.

Overall a nice stay, but a few things need attention: The pool and hot tub are very dirty and they are always short on towels! (Hair, insects and foggy scum). The burger restaurant is only accessible via the casino so forget bringing children. Not all of the outlets in the room work and in order to access them you must move furniture. Would stay again, but look forward to these issues being rectified.

I arrived late and had communicated with a few emails requesting a last check out. Knowing their policy that was sent to me via emails, I should have been granted an hour extra but was told that wouldn't be possible. I normally live this hotel and the facilities. However at 7am there was someone yelling in the halls, "Excuse me lady's and gentlemen, can I get your attention please, we are trying to find the reason for the alarm, please bare with us," (I was deeply asleep and this "message" went on every three minutes - there was no alarm noise that anyone could hear. Then after about 20 minutes of that, another message, same kind, but stating they have found the source of the condition. That message repeated for several repeats! No explanation. So I left, forget the sleep. It was annoying for sure. As it sounded like the voice was just talking right outside of my door.

THE GOOD: Pool and waterslide were definitely the highlight for a family stay with young kids! Room and property were generally clean and in good upkeep. Having a Starbucks right in the lobby was also very handy. Noise levels were reasonably low even with the airport being not far away. THE BAD: the mattress in the master bedroom was way too soft and saggy while the pull out sofa was quite creaky. Biggest nuisance is that it's impossible to get in or out of the resort and the parking garage without passing through billowing clouds of cigarette smoke. Unfortunately, this goes hand in hand with casinos. But, if they're actively marketing the property as a family-friendly destination they would be wise to contain smoking to a designated area rather than having it spread out around the entire perimeter of the property. This alone is enough reason for us to never return again.
