Tämä merenranta mökki on vierastalo kiinteistöllämme Woodlandsin alueella Pohjois-Vancouverissa. Indian Arm on Pohjois-Amerikan länsirannikon eteläisin jäätikkövuono, joka ulottuu 10 mailia koilliseen sisämaahan Burrardin sisääntulosta ja Vancouverin satamasta. Seymour-vuoren itärinteellä sijaitseva Woodlandsin alue on paratiisi retkeilyyn, melontaan ja maastopyöräilyyn, missä olet vain muutaman minuutin päässä Pohjoisrannan Baden Powell -polusta, Quarry Rockista ja legendaarisesta maastopyöräilymaastosta.

Mökki itsessään on 2 tarina, 650 neliöjalkaa rakennus. Se on hiljattain remontoitu ruostumattomasta teräksestä valmistetuilla laitteilla, kvartsivasaateilla, puuhella, omalla kannella, puutarhalla ja terassilla, jossa on propaanigrilli. Yläkerrassa on queen-vuode, sohva ja televisio, jossa on surround-ääni.
Woodlandsin alue on syrjäinen ryhmä rantakiinteistöjä Indian Armen rannalla, vain Deep Coven pohjoispuolella. Osa Woodlands-seikkailusta on tie. Indian River Drive rakennettiin vuonna 1909 yhdistämään Woodlands Pohjois-Vancouveriin. Se oli päällystetty vasta 1990-luvulla, ja tänään on kaunis 5 km: n käämitysmatka läpi kypsän toisen kasvun sademetsän.
Kesäaika Woodlandsissa on loistava ja kaunis. Kiinteistö on itään päin, joten voit nauttia auringonnoususta. Sitten on talvi. Sataa täällä talvella. Paljon. Lähellä sijaitsevaa Deep Covea kutsutaan joskus marraskuusta maaliskuuhun syvimmäksi Darkest Coveksi. Se ei lunta täällä usein, mutta kun se tapahtuu, meidän on pysäköitävä palokaistan yläosaan ja vaeltava taloon ja talosta. Pitää kuitenkin meitä sopivina. Meillä on propaanivarustus, polttopuun toimitus ja varageneraattori. Olemme valmiita zombi-apokalypsiin. Tai talvella Woodlandsilla. Kumpi tahansa tuleekin ensin. 6 Star Gem on the Vancouver Coast
If we could give this property 6 stars instead of 5 we would. Jodi & Ken are absolutely wonderful hosts, the 'cottage' is amazing. Love the view and the feel of the place. The Kitchen is fully stocked with tools/utensils you'll need. The linens/towels are wonderful fabric and we LOVED the soap... (need to find out where to get it for our home). The Attic bedroom is quaint/comfortable and was romantic for celebrating our 20th anniversary. We'll definitely be back and will check out their other Granite Falls Getaway locations.

Indian Arm North Shore Cottage
This is a great property for our first visit to Vancouver. It was very remote yet close to downtown and all attractions. Great view of the water from the bedroom window and lower deck that hosts allowed us to use. The peace and quiet was very relaxing. Excellent recent renovation and everything needed was in the cottage. One minor issue was that clothes washer was not operational but it was not a major issue since the hosts allowed us to use their laundry equipment in the next door main house. It was a perfect choice for our stay and just the right size for two people. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this unique property.

Wonderful Stay
Wonderful garden, cottage, deck, good maintained, lovely decorated. Very comfy, everything is there you could possibly need. Good recommendations for things to do, where to eat etc. Precise directions. Narrow road but so beautiful! We loved being out of the city in such a lovely location. The view, the fresh air, everything is so relaxing. We liked Deep Cove and the whole area. Exceptionally hospitable hosts - hope to see them again. Would love to come back.

A Slice of the Good Life
This property sits high above the Indian Arm, with the cottage tucked up behind the residence, surrounded by lush gardens. Jodi and Ken are so welcoming and hospitable with their stunning residence. What a treat to experience living the good life, if only for a week! We took every advantage of the many walking & hiking trails both in and around Vancouver and on up to Squamish. It was so nice to come back to such a clean, well-appointed, charming cottage - to the wonderful shower, beautiful kitchen, air conditioning - cook dinner and relax while watching the far side of the fjord glow as the sun sets behind us. However, believe Jodi and Ken when they say their cottage is not suitable for those with mobility challenges. Nor if you're uncomfortable navigating the steep and narrow final stretch of the drive. But, it is SO worth it!

We didn't want to leave.
This is a delightful cottage in a gorgeous setting. The owners have created a cozy retreat and will make you feel at home in every way. As it says in the description, there ARE stairs. We just figured it added to the adventure and the landings that overlook the water are worth every step. We look forward to staying at some of their other properties as well. This is a find.

The cottage was well equipped, extremely clean and so cozy. Loved having coffee every morning on the dock while watching the seals play and enjoying the ocean views.

Paradise found
The cottage and the hosts were amazing;). We spent our days lying on the dock, swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. The evenings looking over the ocean. Jodi and Ken were so kind to let us use the kayaks and paddleboard. The feeling of serenity that we had during our stay is still with us. What a magical place:). We just did a staycation and are from Vancouver but it is a whole other world of forest and ocean over there. Thanks Jodi and Ken for making our vacation something very special!!

Agree with the other reviewers- this place is beautiful and Jodi and Ken are so gracious and welcoming. Stayed for a week and it was a real treat! Went kayaking, swimming, and relaxed in a garden or on a dock without ever leaving the property.

Such a lovely and quaint guest cottage and stellar place to get away for peace, quiet and restoration. The hosts are lovely and kind. They are gracious and helpful. A Perfect Relaxing Getaway
Ken & Jodi were the best hosts and the property was beyond our expectations! We had such a nice and relaxing time at the cottage. We really enjoyed kayaking in the mornings and hanging out by the nice patio area around the fire pit. Definitely will be back again :)

Is this heaven?
My husband and I quarantined here at the end of the pandemic, and I swear it was the reward for the last 14 months of lockdown. The cottage is adorable, even luxurious. The views are some of the prettiest we've seen anywhere in t. The sea the world.. The sea air, the cedars, the beautiful garden--it was like being transported to a spa. I even did yoga outside on the deck one morning. We would love to come back. Jodi and Ken were great hosts and helpful in every way. We'd love to come back next summer.. Right now, we're downtown Vancouver seeing our one-year-old granddaughter we've only known on Zoom!
