4*s?!!!!for what

Terrible experience ! I am not sure how it could be a 4star hotel. The non smoking room I had, had a sign of non smoking on the door with an ash tray on the table, and intense smell of smoke in the air!!! The room was not fully cleaned and the shampoo of previous guest was in the bath; the towels were torn apart or had holes in them. The hotel in general seemed old and was not kept well and needed service and change of carpets . The gym was in a mess with close to none instruments. Breakfast was alright; salad from the other meals was the only edible option. For everything (wifi, parking,...) there was extra cost. Got the wifi for one night and regretted it as it was not really working! If you really want to be close to the Golden Sands , get closer to the beach; if you wanna stay far from the tourist crowd, stay in Varna.
Stayed 4 nights in Sep 2019
