Formosa Asunto upealle lomalle upean Venetsian sydämessä

Ihastuttava ja viihtyisä Formosa huoneisto on vain 5 min kävelymatkan päässä S. Markuksen torilta ja Rialton sillalta. Se sijaitsee vain muutaman askeleen päässä Santa Maria Formosan yksi tyypillisimmistä paikka Venetsiassa, tyypillisessä venetsialaisessa rakennuksessa. Hiljattain kunnostettu asunto, noin 50 m², koostuu suuresta avoimesta tilasta, jossa on keittiö ja elävä (korkealla puulämmitteisellä katolla), satelliitti-tv, internet-wifi ja vuodesohva kahdelle. Keittiö on kalustettu jääkaappi ja pakastin, kaasuliesi, mikroaaltouuni, astianpesukone. Tärkeimmät makuuhuoneessa on king size-vuode, iso vaatekaappi. Kylpyamme ja pesukone. Erittäin alkuperäinen ja arvostetuin katot edustaa ristikon rakenne. Parkettilattia. Ilmastointi, tuuletin ja kehto saatavilla pyynnöstä. Kaikki huoneet ovat erittäin kirkas kuin valaisi useita ikkunoita. Supermarket, kauppoja, ravintoloita, baareja, pubeja, aivan lähellä.


Ostokset: Olemme aivan kulman takana Venetian supermarket, alle 1 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä. Ostokset ruokaa ei voisi olla helpompaa. Jos pidät tuoretta ruokaa menee hyvin kuuluisa Rialton Mercato jokapäiväistä ravintoa markkinoilla (ei sunnuntai) pullollaan vain kalastetaan kala, tuoreet hedelmät ja vihannekset aivan Rialton siltaa. Lähellä huoneistossa on useita muita pieniä ruokapaikoissa hajallaan, josta voi ostaa lihaa, juustoa, leipää, jne. Everything they advertised. Only problem we ran into was I had a hard time getting an internet connection to contact the host at the meeting spot. A very nice girl from one of the shops contacted him for me, she said that area was hard to get service.

Perfect location and great host!
The apartment is in the perfect location! Brigitte met us and helped us get settled. She recommended where and when to ride a Gondola as well as the best restaurant nearby for a very unique and romantic dinner experience. The apartment was clean and well stocked with necessities. We would definitely book here again!

Beautiful Venice!
This apartment was a perfect place to stay for my visit in Venice. The property was clean, well stocked with cleaning products and towels, and was presented like a hotel! A small but very appreciated feature was the hair dryer. I know it seems ridiculous to comment on that but I have a lot of hair and it was wonderful to have a quality hair tool included! Arrigo was a wonderful guide to the apartment and he went out of his way to provide tons of recommendations for places to eat, drink, and visit. For those debating which floor the apartment is on, in Italy, the ground floor is considered “0” and the next floor the first floor. So, in Italy it’s on the 3rd floor but for North Americans we’d consider it the 4th floor. As a solo female traveller I felt safe here and would HIGHLY recommend others to stay here, I know I will again!

Perfect Location, But 44 steps to climb
This was a great property. Location is in between Rialto Bridge and St. Marks Square. Easy walking to both. All sorts of shops, grocery, restaurants. Apartment is set back in a deadend, but you just walk to the end and you are in a bustling area. Was perfect for us, but 44 steps is a lot for anyone with any bad knees or hips.

Quiet, comfortable, and roomy.
Brigitte met us at a piazza around the corner, escorted us the apartment, and showed us what we needed to know about the apartment. This clean apartment is up three flights of stairs but so is the majority of Venice. Plenty of space for two adults. Separate AC mini-split units for the living room/kitchen and bedroom was very nice. It is located at the of a dead end, so you could sleep with the windows open and not worry about a lot of noise outside. A grocery store is just around the corner but if you don't want to cook check out Ristorante ai Barbicani and hit up Gelateria Gallonetto for dessert, all three being less than a two minute walk away.

Le fait qu'on ne nous convie pas à une adresse exacte est troublant. Toutefois, on comprend qu'il peut être difficile pour un non vénétien de trouver l'endroit! Heureusement, Brigitte nous a bien reçu. L'appartement est de rêve! Bien situé et d'une tranquilité totale malgré la proximité des lieux mytiques. Les escaliers peuvent en limiter l'accès à quelques uns.

The apartment was amazing, wonderful location, close to Rialto Bridge and San Marco Square. Rooms were quite roomy for an historic region in Venice. Check in process was excellent with host arranging someone to meet us, take us to the apartment and show us the challenges of operating various equipment in the apartment. Please note, if you have mobility issues, there are many flights of stairs.

Unique apartment
Very special apartment with unique old atmosphere from beams. Nice view from windows. Very comfortable! Location is very privilege. There is a nice restaurant close by, not touristy, very good service and excellent food. And situated right on a canal. Ask the lady about this restaurant at a check in time. Go there! If you walk from Rielto bridge, that would be a street before your street on the left. Walk there and almost at the canal bridge the restaurant is on your right. Blinking lights outside are there. Really good place! So, combination of good accommodation, location and the restoran suggestion made my experience in Venice 5 stars.

great location
this apartment is very central to lots of wonderful sights in Venice. It is a little shabby. It's clean but the furniture is minimal and not in good shape. The apartment was a very nice size and the kitchen was adequate for minimal use. The are 50 stairs to get to the apartment. it is not for the faint of heart!!! The host was good about check in. They met us and took us to the apartment. She actually lugged my bag up the stairs for me. That was very nice.

Great hideaway
The apartment is lovely and in a perfect central location. Although Venice was hot during our visit, the AC was adequate and kept us comfortable. The building entry and stair is a bit shabby - and remember it is a 3-story climb - but the unit is terrific, quiet and clean.

Best Little Rental in Venice
We loved this spot! It was in the heart of everything, but when you turn into your little lane, you see the lives of real Venetians going about their business. There is a climb to the top, but then you can look out and see the glorious rooftops of Venice. The spacious bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds are just the beginning. The truly great part is the kind and hospitable hosts who make sure everything is good and also explain Venice to you. We slept three people quite comfortably and just loved this magical hideaway over the rooftops of Venice, one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Disappointing
The apartment was a very nice one bedroom. There was plenty of space and the kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was also large. My main issue was the water heating system that was uncontrollable. It was not possible to control the water temperature. It was either too hot or too cold. The owner had left instructions but they were useless. Also, during my 4 night stay, I had to buy garbage bags, dish-washing liquid, laundry soap, and even toilet paper; all of which I donated to the owner when I left.The 4 flights of stairs weren't fun either.

Comfortable, well located apartmennt for a couple or small family.
The apartment is clean and comfortable. It is well situated for visiting all of the sights of Venice. There are essentials for cooking simple meals. Our only complaint was the many steep, narrow stairs to access the apartment which made it very difficult for two seniors. It should really be much more clear in the description that the apartment is not accessible for anyone with mobility issues.

Very Nice Place!
The apartment is very centrally located, and walking to a near unlimited number of shops and restaurants is a breeze. Our greeter, Arrigo, was very helpful! He went out of his way to meet us at Rialto Dock when our Google Maps refused to work upon arrival. He also provided us with many recommendations- which we greatly appreciated. Yes, there are stairs - quite a few, which made our large luggage a bit difficult, but not really a problem. And as others have noted, we could not figure out the washing machine - at all. But again, not really a big deal. We enjoyed our stay very much, and would happily stay here again!

This spot is close to Rialto (vaporetto), Basicilla, and lots of shopping and restaurants. Be prepared for lots of steps to the fourth floor, which we weren’t. Would have been okay if we had not over-packed our bags. Overall a great stay!

Awesome location, friendly host, comfortable, quiet apartment
The person welcoming us was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is centrally located, with convenient access to all the sights and the train station. It is just one building behind a busy walking area with shops and restaurants, but facing an inner courtyard, so nice and quiet. The kitchen had everything needed and the beds were super comfortable. We would definitely stay again. However, the apartment may not be suitable for someone who has trouble with stairs. The apartment is located on the fourth floor (four flights of stairs) and the building does not have an elevator.
