I recently stayed at this hotel, and my experience was nothing short of frustrating.
On the first night, I arrived late and was given a room with a foul odor and no heat. After waking up the receptionist (literally), I was moved to another room, but this was just the beginning of the problems.
The second night, my wife and I started having allergic reactions. At first, we thought we were getting sick, but we later discovered a large, hairy dog staying two doors down. I had specifically been told no animals were allowed on the third floor, which turned out to be untrue. When I brought this up with the front desk, nothing was done, even though it was a clear policy violation.
Adding to the frustration, hotel staff repeatedly knocked on our door while I was resting, saying they needed to "make changes" to the room. This was disruptive and unnecessary. The second room, while slightly more outdated than the first, had its own issues. The toilet clogged, and with no maintenance staff available, I had to go to the front desk to get a plunger. The plunger was handed to me uncovered, with something questionable on the handle. When I asked for a bag, it felt like an unusual request for the staff.
The lack of attention to basic cleanliness and service was shocking. I also had to frequently request basic toiletries like tissue. Despite all this, I had no choice but to stay due to the late hour.
