Welcome to a unique living experience in the heart of Visby! This meticulously renovated and restored house offers a Gotlandic dream with its authentic charm and modern amenities. The house is located right next to the magnificent St. Klara Cathedral ruin, providing an enchanting and historic atmosphere. With its three floors and four separate bedrooms, this accommodation is perfect for larger groups or families.
The Space:
The house is filled with beautiful wooden details and craftsmanship, limestone floors, and rustic woodwork and wrought iron that reflect Gotland's rich history and culture.
The House is well-planned with 4 separate bedrooms, each with two 90cm wide beds that can either be kept separate or put together as a 180cm wide bed if you are traveling as couples.
Ground floor; The beautiful hallway with a guest WC and also the fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen is spacious with a seating area for up to 10 persons, got nice space to prepare food and includes a microwave, dishwasher, oven, freezer, fridge, hob, and all the essentials for preparing meals at home..
One of the four bedrooms is also situated on ground floor. A cozy little bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a 180cm wide bed.
The beautiful wood stairs take you to the first floor where you find another bedroom with 2 separate 90 beds that can either be used as two beds or put together as an 180 cm wide bed. You also find the living room and social spaces with a beautiful view and fire space. Unwind in the cozy seating area with sofas and a smart TV, perfect for relaxation.
On the upper floor there are the two additional bedrooms of them four; one with a 180cm bed and one with two separate 90 beds.
The location is phenomenal and unique in its character; neighboring the old church ruin and with a large private garden and outdoor seating. All for your privacy and use.
The lower level you find the laundry room and wine cellar.

The Neighborhood:
The house is situated just around the corner from Stortorget, an ideal Gotland location! The village of Visby offers a good variety of beautiful architecture, shops, restaurants and bars. I will provide you with some of my best tips and how to best explore Visby and Gotland to ensure you get the most out of your stay. For a truly unforgettable stay, immerse yourself in local traditions and events. From the lively Medieval Week festivities to music festivals and art exhibitions, Gotland's cultural calendar is brimming with activities year-round.
Getting Around:
If you are traveling just to visit Visby you don't need a car but a rental bike will work just fine. If you plan to explore the rest of Gotland I would suggest bringing your car (parking is included) or renting one on siste.
Other Things to Note:
With respect to neighbors and families in the area, there is a strict policy that no parties/events or smoking is allowed. No loud music/noise allowed after 21.00 and only confirmed guests are allowed in the house. In the unfortunate event of misconduct, the booking can be canceled so please respect the home and neighbors.
