Yaquina John Pointilla sijaitseva Beachside Suites on keskeinen kaikille tärkeille nähtävyyksille. Kiinteistön eteläpuolella ovat kuvernööri Pattersonin osavaltion puisto, Cape Perpetua, Heceta Headin majakka ja merileijonaluolia. Aivan pohjoiseen ovat Seal Rock, Oregon Coast Aquarium ja Newport-majakat. Vieraat pääsevät seitsemän mailin päähän sileästä, hiekkarannasta. Kävelyt ovat rauhallisia, koska ranta on osittain yksityistä. Rannalla voi nähdä monia harvinaisia lintuja. Valaat voidaan nähdä aivan rannalla, muuttumassa pohjoiseen tai etelään. Sataman hylkeet uivat vedessä lähellä rantaa. Kiinteistön pohjoispuolella on Alsea-joki, joka tarjoaa kalastus- ja retkeilymahdollisuuksia. Yhden mailin päässä on ravintoloita, ruokakauppoja ja lukuisia kauppoja. On golfkenttä yhden mailin kaakkoon. Kätevä vierailijakeskus sijaitsee yhden mailin päässä pohjoisesta, josta löydät satoja esitteitä hyödyllisistä lomaideoista. Palaavat vieraat kommentoivat pikkukaupungin ilmapiiriä tärkeänä syynä paluutaan.


Pääsy rannalle: Beachside Suite on erittäin helppo pääsy rannalle. Hiekkaan pääsy kestää noin 3 minuuttia. Tämä kaunis ranta ulottuu Waldportin kaupungista Yachatsin kaupunkiin, jossa rannasta tulee laavavälitys.

Nähtävyydet: On olemassa monia nähtävyyksiä sekä pohjoisessa että etelässä Beachside Suitesista. Noin 20 mailia etelään ovat merileijonaluolit. Aivan luolista pohjoiseen on Heceta Light House, ja sieltä löytyy joitakin parhaimmista näkymistä länsirannikolla. Noin 10 mailia Beachside Suitesista etelään on Cape Perpetua. Tämä on 500 jalkaa oleva kallio, josta turistit voivat katsella valtamerta ja upeita auringonlaskuja. Aivan Beachside Suitesin pohjoispuolella on Otter Rock. Tämä on erittäin mielenkiintoinen ja epätavallinen kiviryhmä. Noin 15 mailia pohjoiseen Beachside Suitesista on Newportin kaupunki, josta voi nähdä Oregon Coastin akvaarion ja 2 majakkaa. Ja aivan Waldportin kaupungissa Alsea-joki kohtaa valtameren. Valtatie 34 kulkee jokea pitkin. Monet nähtävyydet nauttivat ajamisesta joen yli.

Found a human molar in room.
The apartment was nice and clean until I found someone's molar on shelf above the stereo. No joke.The picture that shows beach access made me believe the access was right there. It wasn't.

The host with the most
I would honestly say the place is a little more humble than I expected, but overall clean and that three minute walk to the beach is spot on. Be careful how far you walk chasing the tides, you do have to walk back lol. With that said, Jeff is AMAZING. I got my check out dates completely wrong and he was so understanding and accommodating. In addition, you can walk to town which is pretty awesome. Between Chinese food (where you get sooo much, Grand Central (with the best garlic knots), and the wine bar near the bay, you have a place to go for food at all times. Also, if it’s your thing, the “elevated” cotton candy from the dispensary is sooooo good and that’s when all the food from the Chinese place is necessary. {Sorry I’m horrible with remembering, anything really, but even more so names} Waldport is adorable and just what I needed. Thank you Jeff for your kindness and a fabulous vacation location.

Clean & Comfy
The property was as expected,with easy check in and check out. The host was thorough with instructions. I had the pet-friendly area, and there were several options for walking. Beach is nearby, but may pose accessibility difficulties for anyone with mobility issues/bad knees. Its 30 minutes to Newport and 15 minutes to Yachats. There are limited dining out options in Waldport, but a fairly large grocery.

Nice, affordable option, close walk to beach
This is a cute little suite. It was clean, and well stocked. I loved how close the beach was, and it is a nice beach and easy to get down to. This suite only accommodates one or two people, as there is only a queen bed. The first two nights were relatively quiet. This is a bottom floor suite so you hear anything going on upstairs. The third morning and night was extremely loud and there was a guy there from early morning and then overnight going back and forth between the upstairs units and it sounded like he was moving very heavy furniture and banging on the walls and floors from early in the morning until very late at night. When I inquired about what was going on through Jeff, he said it may be a maintenance guy. Not a great experience and the guy was kind of creepy and stared whenever I saw him. I would guess this isn’t something that happens often though. A few things that could be improved upon and wouldn’t cost a lot of money- the shower head could be replaced. There is absolutely no water pressure at all, so taking a shower is very unpleasant. There is a fan in the closet, but it’s broken. Those are like $15. The metal thing that holds the key is very hard to open and maneuver if you have adult sized fingers. Those aren’t too expensive either. Overall this was a nice place to stay in a good location- close to Seal Rock, which has Ona Beach and Seal Rock beach, plus The Chubby Little Mermaid and Luna Sea Fish House- best fish and chips and chowder. All of the places in town that we ate were absolutely horrible, so I would recommend not eating in Waldport at all. Yachats is not far either and is an awesome little town. The little living room was comfortable and the tv has apps on it, so that was nice. The fridge and freezer works well and the kitchen was clean and bug free.

Nice enough apt. Wish it was closer to town, too far to walk to anything. Not a fan of Oregon, will not be returning. Cold & gloomy.

Good Location
This is a great place for people planning on a budget. It was clean and had everything you’d need. I would not recommend more than 2-3 people staying here at a time though. We liked that it was close to the sea lion caves, Heceta Lighthouse, the Oregon Coast Aquarium, and two beaches. We would definitely stay here again and I’ve recommended this place to family.

Convenient and affordable efficiency apartment
I spent 4 days in Jeff’s unit along with my pup. It is modest but well stocked, very clean and comfortable. The apartment is conveniently located in Waldport, a 10 minute drive from Yachats, and a 2 minute walk from the beach. Jeff even called on the day of my arrival to make sure I had the check in information handy. It’s a great choice for budget travel.

Great location and unit readiness!
This small but well-equipped apartment couldn't have been better located for the money. Full-use kitchen, very clean linens and bedding, comfortable bed, and easy access to the beach were highlights for me. Maybe the surfaces could have been cleaner, but this owner tries to help renters save money by omitting a cleaning fee. I appreciate that, and so I tried to leave the unit cleaner than I found it. Overall, this was a great stay

Crabbing in Waldport
The rental was very clean, the price was reasonable and had everything we needed. Short easy walk to the beach. It does have an awkward layout and is best suited to just 2 people. We were in Waldport to go crabbing with friends and this fit the bill perfectly.

Fiscally responsible beach town apt
I am hesitant to review this bc of how the owner has responded to previous comments. There were a few issues - blow up mattress had a hole in it, some pincher bugs in the living room, a weird cramped set up which would be fine for two intimate people, but w the couch pulled up there was zero room and a bit of a fire hazard. We had two adults, my mom and I, and two small children. The small shower was in the bedroom meaning everyone else had to sit in the tiny living room while they used it for privacy. The beach was down a road past a dozen lower income places. Someone was stomping upstairs heavily late at night and overall it was a loud group of apartments and a tiny dog was barking constantly next door. All of that being said, if I was looking for a cheap romantic getaway this would be an option, but for the 4 of us and a once a year vacation, I would have splurged on something bigger, closer to the ocean, w some kind of view. As a note however, I did not give the owner a chance to fix these issues due to our only being there for a long weekend. I just didnt want to stress about it.
