-Hot Tub (seats 4 comfortably; can seat up to 6 people; Hot Tub is 1 year old)

-Weber Grill (new as of May 2022)
-Party Lights extending from main cottage to Bunk House (new as of summer 2022)
-Hammock. -Fire pit with chairs (1 bundle of firewood & s'mores kit provided per reservation)

***For our Fall & Winter guests, THE BUNK HOUSE IS CLOSED TO GUESTS FROM 11/1-4/30, AND WE CAN ACCOMMODATE UP TO 6 GUESTS IN THE WINTER INSTEAD OF 7. THE MAIN COTTAGE SLEEPS 2 GUESTS FOR EACH OF THE BEDROOMS, AND THERE IS A PULLOUT QUEEN SLEEPER SOFA IN THE LIVING ROOM THAT CAN SLEEP 2 IF NEEDED. THE MOST COMFORTABLE ARRANGEMENT WILL BE 4 TOTAL GUESTS AS OUR COTTAGE IS 1000 TOTAL SQ FT.

THE BUNK HOUSE IS PRIMARILY SETUP FOR KIDS to have their own space, but it is not insulated. We keep a dehumidifier running in the bunk house when it is open to guests as well as a portable A/C unit. The bunk house is OPEN from 5/1-10/31 each year for guests.

Walloon Cottage is the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway in any season. Please inquire with any questions regarding our cottage. We're happy to help!

Spectacular hosts and property
Absolutely fantastic hosts and property! Everything was thought of and considered. Beautiful cozy cottage on a private lot in a quiet neighborhood yet centrally located for winter and summer fun. Charming interior, beautiful patio and hot tub, fireplace. The hosts were so attentive and friendly! We will definitely return!

End of Summer Family Vacation
Larissa & Adam were excellent hosts! Their communication and ease of check-in and check-out were top notch. The rental was extremely clean and we appreciated all of the ammenities provided (start-up for cleaning/paper products, well stocked kitchen utensils and cookware, clean bathroom!). Larissa checked in upon arrival as well as throughout our stay to ensure we were well taken care of. This cottage is located just a short walk to downtown Walloon Lake. It was a very easy walk to the public beach and park (even with two littles under the age of 5). The location is also excellent for easy access to major grocery stores and plenty of restaurants. We had a wonderful stay!

Overall our stay in Walloon was great. This house, while cute, was not worth the price gauge that we faced. There was a list about 10 deep of issues we faced in 3 short days. Pictures are definitely not as they seem. Outdoors are not well kept, jacuzzi and lights were dilapidated at best, we weren’t informed of a few non working things before arrival. While the owner did their best to accommodate during their busy weekend it still did not live up to the cost. Sadly, they were unwilling to compensate for any of the inconvenience we faced. This home should be valued as an extended stay hotel especially given the one tiny bathroom. If you have more than 2 kids good luck.

House was small but comfortable. It was within walking distance to a very small beach and cute town with restaurant snd general store. Everything was accurately depicted in listing. We had an issue with the dryer while there and host was attentive. Would stay again.

This Walloon cottage was perfect for our family and our dog! Great location in Walloon - easy walk to everything in Walloon Village. Loved the hot tub and the fenced yard. Well set up as rental - had everything we needed - even beach towels and a s’more kit for the fire pit.

This little cottage was perfect for us. We were able to bring our dogs and have the freedom to let them roam around in the fenced in yard. The home is walking distance to the few shops/restaurants that Walloon has to offer. The hot tub was perfect for the chilly nights we had and gave us something extra to do with our downtime. It was also so nice to have such a quick drive to both boyne city and petoskey. Highly highly recommend this stay. The hosts were so helpful, communicative, and left a sweet welcome letter upon our arrival. We have definitely added this to our “must revisit” list.

Great cottage
We went for a quick weekend getaway to break up the winter doldrums! Great cottage in a wonderful location. We did a couple of activities at Boyne Highlands and hit a couple wineries. We had a beautiful walk downtown and around Walloon Lake. The cottage has a large yard that would be awesome in the summer! Would definitely stay again! We had everything we needed for a terrific stay!

Fantastic summer get-away
We booked this house for 5 days in short notice when our other vacation plans fell apart. We really lucked out! The place had everything we needed, with a few extras. The bunkhouse turned out to be a real highlight - our young adult son stayed there and enjoyed his own space/TV. The location is super - a short walk to Walloon Village (including Tommy’s where we rented a pontoon boat, a great candy/ice cream shop, and the wonderful general store) - and a short drive to Petosky. Harbor Springs and Charlevoix are just 30 minutes away, we’ll worth the trip. The house was as nicely appointed and clean as we could have hoped. Hosts were responsive. Wo-fi, appliances, etc. worked great. Hot tub was womderful! No complaints whatsoever.

Cozy space
We stayed here a few nights to go skiing at Boyne and it did not disappoint! The space was cozy and inviting and we loved that firewood was provided! Only 10 minutes from Boyne, it was the perfect place to come back to, soak in the hot tub, and relax by the fire. Our pups also loved the spacious, fenced in back yard to run and play!
