Tyylikkäästi sisustettu yhden makuuhuoneen englantilainen kellarikerrostalo Rock Creek Park -puistossa, lähellä Beach Drivea, Van Ness -metroaseman ja kansallisen eläintarhan alueella. Se on yksi turvallisimmista, hiljaisimmista ja kauneimmista alueista DC: ssä - Washingtonin parhaiten varjeltu salaisuus ..

Tässä hyvin yksityisessä hiljattain kalustetussa huoneistossa on makuuhuone queen-size-vuoteella, keittiö / olohuone-yhdistelmä, jossa queen-size-vuodesohva ja täysikokoiset laitteet. Huoneistossa on oma sisäänkäynti ja oma terassi. Osittain yksityinen iso viihde- / pelihuone, jossa on biljardipöytä, takka ja iso näyttö-TV-oleskelutila, sijaitsee huoneistoasi vieressä ja sitä voidaan käyttää henkilökohtaiseen rentoutumiseen tai sosiaalisiin tapaamisiin.

Liikkuminen. Talo sijaitsee 16. kadun ja Beach Drive -kadun välissä. 16. katu on suora viiva Valkoiseen taloon ja suurimpaan osaan Washingtonin liike- ja nähtävyyksiä.

Bussit. Ainakin 5 linja-autoa kulkee peräkkäin 16. kadun varrella liittovaltion kolmioon.

Metro. Van Ness UDC (Columbian kreivikunnan yliopisto) -metroasema (punainen linja) on puiston toisella puolella. Mukava kävely hyvällä säällä. Tarjoan kuitenkin ilmaisia kuljetusmatkoja vierailleni Van Nessin tai Cleveland Parkin metroasemille ja sieltä.

Auto. Et löydä parempaa majoitusta DC: ssä, jos ajat. Ei hätää pysäköinnin löytämisestä, ei kustannuksia eikä sakkoja yöpysäköinnistä, arvostat ajamista pitkin Beach Drivea, - Washingtonin version Central Parkista New Yorkissa - luonnonkaunis, liikennevaloista vapaa tie kansalliskeskukseen. ja täydellinen oikotie ruuhka-liikenteen liikemiehille.

Polkupyörät. Lisäarvoksi tarjoamme ilmaisia polkupyöriä (meillä on yhteensä kolme polkupyörää, joista valita), jotta vierailustasi Washington Park -alueella saadaksesi vielä nautittavamman.

Evening fun
We loved our stay here. It was convenient to sight see in DC. Natasha was helpful in sharing with us how to access the metro since we are not from that area. My son absolutely loved being able to play pool in the evenings when we returned. So would love to stay here again the next time we return to DC.

Quiet neighborhood, clean & safe accommodations!
We stayed here for my son’s graduation from American University. We needed dog-friendly accommodations in case our usual dog-sitting arrangement didn’t work out (in the end, our dog ended up staying home). Natasha’s place was in a quiet, safe neighborhood and the accommodations were clean and well-supplied with lots of conveniences to make it feel like home. The property is accurately described in the listing. A great value for accommodations in the District, especially since there is room to park your car. (Hotels charge $$$ for parking!!!) Highly recommend.

Thanksgiving Visit with Daughter
Small downstairs property 1 bedroom, 1 bath, and full kitchen stocked with many extras. Property allowed dogs, and the fenced in backyard worked very well for exercising the dog as well as the park with walking trails that was close. We had access to the game room with large living room area and pool table as well as 2nd bathroom. We were in DC to spend Thanksgiving with our daughter who lives in Georgetown, so this property was quite close to where she lives and works. Natasha was very helpful with details about the property, answered my many questions, and did everything she could to make our stay very enjoyable. We enjoyed our stay, and will stop again when we are visiting our daughter.

Dog Friendly and Quiet
This was convenient for us because we were visiting someone who lives in Columbia Heights. The apartment was well furnished and clean. Being able to bring our dog was a huge plus. The host is friendly and easily reached. A good choice if you have a car and want a quieter place (and especially if you have a dog).

What a beautiful spot
What a great little basement cottage to rest after walking DC all day. The nice quiet neighborhood with a beautiful park close by. My husband and daughter loved the pool table, it was a nice way to relax in the evenings.

Natasha was a warm, welcoming host to me, my wife, 8 year old son, and our 3 dogs! We were all very comfortable, and the dogs loved the fenced in yard. We were a short drive from Georgetown, the White House, the zoo, and other DC attractions. We would come back again!

Welcoming to us and our dog
The owners are fantastic hosts. They made us feel so welcome with our elderly lab mix. He was equally comfortable with the stay. The location is in a beautiful neighborhood close to the Rock Creek park. While we brought our dog with us for most outings, we were also able to let him stay comfortably behind when best for him. There are many thoughtful details that the hosts have added to the apartment. We would definitely return!

A wonderful vacation in Washington DC
I will recommend this apartment to anyone. It's very close to the Smithsonian museums and it's pet friendly. The neighbourhood is very quiet and safe. And if you love nature, this is the place. And if you are not planning to hit the road, there is a very nice entertainment room where you can play pool. Natasha, it was very nice meeting you and a big hug to Cocos (hosts Welsh terrier).

The host was very gracious letting us change dates. Very pleasant to deal with personally. BUT 1. Shared driveway /gravel parking description was erroneous. Really meant Parking on street. With a 75 feet walk up a hill driveway to get to more steps. 2. Climb continued up several steps up a sidewalk that was not lit at night. Better have a flashlight. 3. Was redirected through backyard. Backyard walk is 12 inch pavers pathway in very slippery mud. Up and down a hill. Again no lights at night. Path was overgrown with trees and ivy that kept slapping us in the face. 4. Entrance at bottom of steps with no rail. Wall covered in ivy so you can’t steady yourself in fear of animals in ivy (snakes?). 5. Musty/musky smell in apt. Although it appeared clean, no sign of bugs. But BR had some mildew. 6. Plumbing issue upon arrival. Asked us to place toilet paper in trash instead of toilet. I did not, flushed waste first, then toilet paper, worked fine. Said previous guest flushed paper towels. After 12 years of VRBO my first negative review. Process was great. Facility needs work.

Great little apartment
From the moment my spouse and I arrived, we felt welcome. We got to D.C. with our dog and were immediately welcomed to the home by Ms. Spivack. She showed us the layout of the living area, bedroom, and the shared TV/pool room that added bonus to our small private space. There is a fenced backyard that our dog shared with her Welsh terrier, who eventually made friends with our dog (our dog can be aloof with other dogs!). The living room sofa converts to a guest bed, which is good for people bringing additional guests. The kitchen was perfect for snacks and making cereal in the morning. We parked in front of the house on the street and had no problem with traffic. This house is located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood not far from the DC Zoo and a large park nearby. We walked our dog around the neighborhood and found it to be peaceful and soothing. If you find you need doggie bags to pick up after your pup, there are bags in the fenced backyard of the house. Overall, this was a great place to stay on our trip to DC and we highly recommend it to others!

Our hostess was extremely pleasant and helpful. The property is just what it advertises to be. The neighborhood is very nice. The proximity to Rock Creek Park was incredible. Our dogs also loved the fenced in backyard to play. It's a perfect little getaway for a couple.

It was a great dog friendly place which accommodated for my older dog. Nice hiking trails close by and my kids enjoyed the pool table so much that they were totally happy playing pool rather than exploring the city further.

Absolutely perfect
This was such a good stay! The host is super friendly and welcomed us to her home in person. The location was perfect for our site seeing trip being only 3 miles and change from the National Mall, yet still quiet and peaceful for relaxing. Comfortable bed and plenty of space for us! Would 100% stay here again and would highly recommend it!

Peaceful Retreat!
Natasha was a wonderful hostess whom gave us a very warm welcome and tour of the property! She provided all the basic necessaries in her cozy apartment. The apartment is located in a beautiful, quiet and safe neighborhood. Although the surrounding area is hilly, Rock Creek Park is enjoyable to explore. The surrounding area also has beautiful homes to look at as you walk through, and we met several neighbors that were all very welcoming and friendly.

Charming retreat
The hostess communicated with us whenever we had questions, both before and after we arrived. She was there to greet us upon our arrival and to orient us to the unit. The one bedroom, one bath unit adequately met our needs in a quiet family-oriented neighborhood. The private entrance added to the feeling of seclusion. The nearby park afforded opportunities for early morning walks in the woods. Driving to the National Mall was quite easy from this northwestern neighborhood. Also, once you climb the hill in Allison St, biking around town is easy. Taking the subway back up and riding home from the station is highly recommended!! We would choose to rent this unit again when we return to DC.

Excellent stay
This was a great place to stay. The location was Awsome. We drove and parking was on the street with no access problems. The place was exactly as described. Natasha was an excellent host. Our pets loved playing with her pet. We really enjoyed our stay even though it was for only two nights. If we are back in the area, we definitely will stay here again.
