Excellent property

The Royal Sonesta is a chic modern hotel. The location is excellent. It is 1 block away from Union Station, making it accessible to many modes of transportation. The staff is very pleasant from the doorman to the hotel reception. Willie in the front desk was awesome. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable.

Wonderful experience from check-in to check out!

It was fabulous! All the employees were welcoming and very helpful! My room 345 was extremely clean and comfortable. The housekeepers were wonderful and friendly and my room was perfect every day! The restaurant next door was delicious and their staff always happy to see my friends and I! It was a wonderful experience for my first visit to Washington DC and I would be more than happy to recommend your hotel to my friends and I would love to stay there again on my next visit!

Great newer hotel. Excellent service and very friendly. Very good self-service parking. Onsite French restaurant was a little overrun with business and the service was slow, but the food was good.

The hotel staff was absolutely delightful, the room was comfortable and very clean (every day, in spite of the mess we left :/) there was a minor issue with the toilet that was fixed immediately The restaurant served fabulous food but the service was a bit lax I would highly recommend a stay to anyone traveling to DC

I do not like the charge for early check in. The room was ready. Why not make me happy? If it had not been ready, no problem. I was also annoyed that I was quoted a price and told the agent could cut it. This seemed like a cheap ploy.

From the moment we arrived the staff (valet, front desk, manager & assistant manager) made us feel very welcome. Even the woman from housekeeping whom we ran into near the elevator was so gracious to us. It's been a long time since we were greeted in the lobby by management as we arrived/departed.
