NIGHTS AT THE GLEN is a beautifully renovated 4 bedroom 3.5 bath guest house right in the heart of Watkins Glen is the perfect place to stay so you can play! Home boasts a snazzy and bright luxury kitchen, spacious living area, and when you are ready to rest there are 4 bedrooms to choose from. On the first floor there is an ADA accessible queen master bedroom. One staircase will take you to the very private king master suite, the other staircase will take you to the other two bedrooms one king, one queen which share a bath that sports Jack & Jill sinks, claw foot soaking tub and one of the most gorgeous step-in showers you've ever seen! The kitchen is fully stocked (no food items), free Wi-Fi, linens are provided and there is off street parking! Outside the covered deck provides nice outdoor space to enjoy that morning cup of coffee or evening cocktail! Our renovation is almost complete, we have a few odds and ends left to do and the outside won't be quite done this year but we are positive you'll love your stay!

PLEASE NOTE: This is a pet friendly property. Pet fee is $35/pet payable when you make your reservation. If pets are brought that were not pre approved, a fee of $75/pet will be deducted from the damage deposit.

Great stay
My husband and I and my sister and brother-in-law stayed for three nights. The house was spacious enough for us to have our own separate spaces to sleep, plus each couple having our own bathrooms was nice. The location was great in terms of walking distance to Watkins Glen State Park and restaurants/shops. All spaces were clean and we had everything we needed for food prep and cooking. There were only two drawbacks for us personally and these may not apply to everyone. One was that there was not a good outdoor space to sit. There are chairs on the side porch, but the road is extremely busy with a lot of trucks going by. The backyard is lovely, but there is no place to sit there. The other drawback was the master suite. The steps leading there are extremely steep. It was obviously an attic at one time. The space there is nice enough, but the ceilings are a bit low. It would work best for children. There is a nice bedroom suite off the kitchen, but that didn’t work for us due to it being right beside the kitchen. Overall, we were pleased with our stay and would consider it again in the future.

Perfect
The house is very clean, and close to all the main attractions in Watkins Glen. You can walk to the falls from this home. The only problem we encountered was ants in the kitchen. There are plenty of bedrooms, and all are quite large. Really enjoyed the trip. Plenty of room for all of us.

Graduation weekend
We had a nice stay at the house. Although the house is old, everything inside was updated and nice. The location of the property is not the best, busy street, but worked for us. Unfortunately, there were ants in the kitchen. And spraying Raid did not fix the problem. Properly manager was very responsive and helpful, so overall we had a nice time.

Girls bear qine camp
My family started a girls get together when our guys go to bear camp. This place helped us to enjoy our favorite wineries and each other. Property was ckean and perfect! Easy access on and out, a great location!

Misrepresented vacation rental- very poor condition !!!
The property was in a very poor condition and area of town. The rental smelled awful upon entry, very run down exterior, appeared to be an old home which was once an apartment. Back room 2 nd floor ceilings were very low, and stair way narrow and could hit your head walking down, hard to believe it passed fire code and occupancy. One way egress. Carpet was worn, stained and dirty in all rooms. Reclining couch was ripped. Beds were uncomfortable, bedding was old and nasty. Very poor accommodations for a vacation rental. I would never recommend nor stay again. They misrepresented these accommodations in their write up. No screens on windows, no shades, front. door was on a main traffic corridor/highway had a slide lock, could have been easily been broken into. Do not recommend.

Accurate listing, easy check-in, and simple & quick communication with host. Route 14 is the main street through Watkins Glen for all vehicles including tractor trailers. If you are a light sleeper this might not be a good location for you. It is a perfect location for walking into town. Tons of pots/pans, wine glasses, and cooking utensils. There were 8 of us (all adults) so more plates and bowls would have been helpful. Something was wonky with the freezer and the floor under the fridge was always slightly wet - we think it was from the water line leaking when anyone tried to get a glass of water from the water/ice maker. Fairly large rip in one of the living room recliners. But neither of these small issues caused any problems for us. We did like the separate spaces and multiple bathrooms. The house worked fine for all of us.

Nice walkable space
Updated insides, comfortable bedrooms, 3.5 baths. Great kitchen and dining area. Stairs to suite near kitchen were extra steep but were not a deterent for my party. Appreciated the laundry!

Everything was good but…
The previous guests reported ants in the kitchen and exterminator visited before we arrived. However, the ants were present throughout our 5 day stay. Also, the upstairs bathtub drain leaked filling the bathroom floor with water that flowed down through the dining room ceiling. When we reported the problem to the property manager, she thanked us for reporting and said she would let the owner know (no offer of help to cleanup the mess or compensate us for the inconvenience).

Family time
The house suited our need very well. Having 2nd floor bedrooms that were separated with their own staircase allowed for a napping child and working parents. The location was excellent-being able to walk to restaurants and ice cream shops was a big plus.

Excellent accommodations
We had an excellent weekend, went to the cardboard boat regatta, checked out some of the wineries and breweries up the lake. The house suited our group perfectly. We would definitely book this house for future trips to Watkins Glen. A special Thank you to Shawna for taking care of the one issue we had and for the mimosas and wine.

Friends weekend getaway
The property is very similar to the listing. Checking in and out was very easy. It is a short walk to the bars and restaurants in town and very close to the National Park. Weather was not great but we had a great weekend anyway.

Great stay in Watkins Glen. Communication with owner was so easy. House was very clean and great space for 8 of us. There is Dunkin’ Donuts right across street and a great deli one block away that was perfect to take hoagies touring wineries. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Location
Shawna's place is very spacious, which worked well for us as we were traveling with an infant. Everything was clean and ready for us upon arrival. The location is within walking distance of many things, including restaurants, stores, and Watkins Glen State Park. I would highly recommend staying here!

Great location
Not much to look at from the outside but it was a great property and amazing location. Lots of room in the house for our family of 8. Loved having so many bathrooms and great kitchen too. Others comment on noise from the street but didn’t notice it at all.

Perfect house in town!
We booked this place because I was having back problems and wanted a short walk to a lot of places. Perfectly placed just out of town and short walk to restuarants, shops, bars, and Seneca Lake - went on Capt Bills sunset cruise and had a blast! Plenty of room, updated bathroom in a great king suite upstairs!

Great stay
Great place for large families, multiple bedrooms with their own bathrooms. Each bedroom also had its own personal portable ac unit that was great. Only minutes walk to Watkins Glen State Park. Off of a busy road but close to downtown shops, the lake, and big brand stores like Walmart. Would recommend and stay here again.

Very relaxing and stress free!
Everything was very good! The location was perfect. The inside looks so nice, but the outside, especially the front door, really needs some work! It was exceptionally warm so we all were a little hit the first night, but the Second night was better! We would definitely recommend it to friends. The stairs were a little tough for us, but we are all old, lol!
