Generally clean and tidy. A bit of a glitch with the drawers in various bits of furniture in that they kept opening by themselves. Needs a bit of maintenance. The beverage satchet tray had an open coffee satchet in it. Hard to know if that's an accident or just not cleaned properly. Also no teaspoons for the drinks and only 1 disposable wooden stirrer that was hidden away.

A good place for short stays

Hotel is a bit out of the main CBD, but not far to good restaurants & cafes. Service was good, the towels were changed daily , which is not really necessary for just one traveller. Bed was very comfortable and a variety of pillows to chose from. The room itself needs a bit of attention, it is pretty old and some wall paper is peeling off walls.

Nice hotel. Ashliegh, the receptionist was amazing with her professionalism and friendliness. Sorted out all my enquiries. The room was clean and comfortable, perhaps a little jaded.

Good location. Rooms are very dated. Wifi for TV kept coming & going so gave up. Receptionist was awesome when I arrived as first room I could hear everything in the rooms next to me , she kindly moved me to a better quieter room. Comfortable bed. No teaspoons for stirring coffee etc which I found unusual.

Cashless was a problem for us

Frustrated that on-site Restaurant meals could not be charged back to the room. Also, they (hotel, plus on-site restaurant) did not accept cash.

Rubbish Wifi.

Shower was very average looking. Windows didn't shut properly. Doors slammed and rocked walls from neigbours and I could hear them coughing, and worst of all the wifi was totally rubbish - unusable. Won't stay there again.

Last-minute booking due to flight cancellation. Charged us $500 for a room that was filthy and smelled. Uncomfortable beds and pillows. It was horrible. Nice staff at the desk, but cleaning staff need more resources. It was revolting and a ripoff. I'm an Accor member but this and my other experiences at the AU Mantra properties has me shying away from booking any Accor hotels in the future.
