This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cottage is perfect for up to 4 guests. Enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains by the firepit. Rest in the King and Queen beds, ensuring a good night's sleep after your adventures. 3 miles from Wellsboro, you're poised to explore the wonders of the PA Grand Canyon and Pine Creek Rail Trail as well as the festivals and amenities that the town has to offer. Whether you're hiking, biking, or simply unwinding, "Dragonfly Cottage" promises an unforgettable getaway.
Step into a welcoming mudroom with seating and storage, leading to a fully equipped kitchen with a picturesque window. The spacious living room provides a cozy retreat with strong WiFi, while the bathroom features laundry facilities and a convenient walk-in shower. Both bedrooms and the dining room offer window air conditioning units for your comfort.
Outside, a private yard awaits with a grill, fire pit, and a hammock for leisurely afternoons surrounded by abundant wildlife. Explore nearby attractions like Downtown Wellsboro, the awe-inspiring PA Grand Canyon, State Game Lands, Pine Creek, and State.

Dog Friendly-Must have prearranged approval from host and an additional $150 paid before arrival
- No more than 2 house trained dogs allowed.
-Dogs cannot be left unattended in/at the rental property unless crated.
-Dogs cannot be off leash while outside.
-Guests will clean up after dogs and dispose of waste as stated in the rental book.
- If evidence of pets on the property without prior approval, subject to $300 damage charge.

Dragonfly Cottage was the perfect spot for our Christmas getaway. If you’re over 6’5” this May not be the place for you given some of the low ceilings. The cottage was charming and I would stay again.

We had a very nice stay. The only drawback was the smell of sulfur in the water. The owner supplies a water cooler with good drinking water, though. Clean, quaint, comfortable, historic, and well stocked.

Very nice cottage and location
Our stay was spectacular, the cottage is very cute, clean, convenient location and close to the town shops, grocery and restaurants in Wellsboro. A short drive to Colton Point to see the Grand Canyon of PA. Firefly cottage has all the amenities you need, from kitchen supplies to fresh drinking water and convenience items, towels, linens, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. The fire pit was nice to sit by day or night, along with star gazing at night.

Family get away
We had such a great time at the cottage. Very quaint super cute decorated. Even though it is a small cottage there is plenty of room on the inside.Sitting out we enjoyed listening to birds and the serenity of what we were surrounded by. Highly recommend this gem in the woods but only 5 min from town.

Cute Cottage!
Dragonfly Cottage had everything we needed for a stay in the mountains. Perfect location - only minutes from downtown Wellsboro. Kitchen was well equipped and had a good sized refrigerator. Furniture was very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!

Loved this place and it fit our needs perfectly for the price. As others have stated, the water is sulfery, but was nice they provided bottled water for drinking, coffee, and cooking. Plenty of everything you would need in the kitchen.

My sister and I stayed at DragonFly Cottage - a beautiful and quiet, peaceful location! Would definitely rent again. Everything we needed was there. Only negatives are the sulfur smell in the water and the bugs (this is the time of year for wasps and stinkbugs to invade homes). Beds were very comfortable and the family room a dream! Plenty of hot water for showers. The price per night is a steal for everything you get staying here. Would highly recommend.

Clean and adorable, secluded yet close
We loved our weekend stay at this historic property in a secluded location, yet a short drive to town. It was clean and well-equipped. When we accidentally flipped a breaker (don't try to make hot water and coffee at the same time!) the property manager answered immediately. Our only complaints were that my 6'4" husband hit his head several times (the charm of an older home!) and the ice maker didn't work. There were two trays but next time I would bring some from home.

Nice place in good location
Just as described. The location was great. Easy access to town, Pa Grand Canyon, and Cherry Springs State Park. A good supply of toiletries, towels, paper towels, dishes, coffee & cream, and bottled water. Unfortunately, we didn't get to take advantage of the firepit but it looked relaxing and there was a supply of wood. Very relaxing weekend.

The Dragonfly cottage was a perfect spot for a long weekend in Wellsboro. To kitchen was well equipped, the grill was in great condition and the firepit was fully stocked with dry wood. The layout and decor of the cottage was wonderful, and we'll make it a point to stay here again on our next trip to town!

One Great Week
It is so nice to be able to rent a whole house. The distance from town was fabulous. The uneven floors did not present a problem. That kitchen table was very sturdy. We borrowed several fans from family and friends. Air conditioning would have been a nice feature. It was a very nice piece of property. It really gave a feeling of being out in the country.
