Location :
Seclude yourself away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, while remaining close to everything at the Harvest Moon log cabin! The cabin is conveniently located just minutes from the Harrah's Casino in Cherokee, NC. Experience the magic of the Oconaluftee River hiking trails & tubing, go sightsee at the popular Mingo & Soco waterfalls, or play a round at the Sequoyah National Golf Course, all located less than 10 minutes away. You can also enjoy the local shops, restaurants, and breweries of the charming town of Bryson City, NC located about 15 minutes from the cabin. The Deep Creek entrance into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is also located just outside of Bryson City, and is packed with great hiking trails, 3 beautiful waterfalls, and during the Spring and Summer months, excellent mountain tubing! You can also reach the Almond Boat Dock on Fontana Lake for some great swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and canoeing options in about 25 minutes, Or you can experience the exhilaration of white-water rafting, zip lining, and other adventurous excursions out in the Nantahala Gorge located 30 minutes away.

Access Road:
Cars and Most All Vehicles. The roads to this cabin are not considered 'Motorcycle Friendly'.

Exterior :
Boasting 'End of the Road Privacy', this quintessential log cabin is peacefully tucked back into the mountainside completely surrounded by tranquility that only the Great Smoky Mountains can offer. You'll enjoy feeling far away from it all, while still be within minutes of all the popular area activities. This cabin has a great outdoor space that features a fabulous shaded porch equipped with rocking chairs and ceiling fans to circulate that wonderful mountain air. The deck is also equipped with a hot tub and gas grill. In the yard, there is a stone fire pit with surrounding rustic log benches and a picnic table.

Interior :
Harvest Moon features a great open floor plan with warm wooden walls and cozy mountain decor. The living room is comprised of plush sofas, flat screen tv, and a beautiful stone gas log fireplace. The adjacent kitchen is outfitted with all of the cooking dishes and utensils you will need to make tasty vacation meals alongside a kitchen table with seating for 4. The cabin also features two spacious king bedrooms and two separate baths. This cabin is the perfect place for two couples to enjoy getting away from it all, while still being able to be in the middle of it all!

This cabin is PET FRIENDLY. If you are bringing a pet along for your visit, there are maximum pet restrictions set by the individual cabin owners so be sure to inquire what the restrictions may be for your cabin if you are planning to bring more than one pet with you.
