Fun and Beautiful Place!
The place was great and very private. You felt like you were the only people for miles! So much space and beautiful view! We all enjoyed the pool and the Hot Tub. Great place for all 9 of us, from 6 yrs old to 70. Convenient to the cute town of Wimberley. We plan to rent again.

Overall stay was a great experience. Some upkeep to the property would make this place that much better, quite a few light bulbs are out around the wrap around porch and the abundance of light switches could be easier to use if they were labeled. The secludedness of the location is amazing but may not be ideal for all, so adding that into the description may be helpful. We were unable to use the hot tub because we were just so busy we did notice though that the view it’s supposed to offer is covered by one of the trees, also at night there’s little to no light in that area. The house itself is beautiful. Lots of space and a breath of fresh air. I only wish we had more time to enjoy all the amenities this home had to offer overall 7.5/10

Beautiful Home
Thank You soooo much, your home was Beautiful and very cozy. My Family enjoyed every part. Both swimming pool and hot tub were perfect. House was FULLY stocked with anything and everything you could think of. We will definitely recommend this property to others and be back! Horses were a bonus as kids LOVED feeding them carrots and apples.

Summer fun with grandkids
The layout and location of house was wonderful. The house needs some very important electrical repairs. There was no lighting on steps going down to pool or in or around pool. The lighting didn’t work and there were exposed wires. The hot tub was in a dark and overgrown area snd the jets didn’t work. We were told this on the day we were to arrive. Therefore we were not able to use it. There were also expose wires in the laundry room. The yard needed mowing but was in a natural state not safe for visitors. There were also dead hummingbirds in the outdoor sitting area. The door into the outdoor sitting area had a screen panel out that needed repair also. We liked the house and area and would come back if some much needed maintenance were done to it.

50th Birthday Weekend Getaway
This is truly a diamond in the rough. The house has great space, however, the listing stated three bathrooms and five bedrooms. There is only two bathrooms and a half bathroom with six adults we definitely needed a full third bathroom. Lastly the property needed some love at the pool and screened in porch. The pool had a section where no filtration was flowing it seemed you could see green slime growing. There was a section on the door to the screened porch kept falling out and no one ever power washed the porch so many dead bugs. But we made the best of everything for our weekend. Just needs some updating and a good power wash IMO. 😉

Wonderful getaway
This property was exceptional! Beautifully decorated for fall. Lots of extras in the kitchen that came in handy. Our family was able to come together and have a fun, relaxing getaway! The horses were friendly and loved the carrots and apples we brought for them. The pool was great ! We’d love to come back!

Great house for our 40th bday girls weekend
Comfortable house for our group of 6 girls to come and stay for an extended weekend. The house seems much bigger than in the pictures. Pool and hot tub were both fabulous. Morning coffee on the wrap around porch, looking at the rolling hills was so fulfilling. We definitely want to come back!

Beautiful property - great family getaway!
Overall we loved our time here! There were a few hiccups with the property. We waited outside for an hour past check-in time to be able to get into the property as it was still being cleaned. Not great for a family who has been on the road for hours. When we started to cook our first meal, we realized the garbage disposal was broken. The manager had a tech. out early the next day to fix it though. This was much appreciated! The property listing stated there was a hot tub on the property, but it was not in working order when we arrived. This was unfortunate as the hot tub was a big reason we booked this place. Kids were disappointed. The master bed needs to be replaced. The good: The property is beautiful and is perfectly situated for younger kids and parents. We were able to sit on the porch and relax while we watched the kids feed the horses and play in the yard. The property dog who came to visit from time to time was a big favorite with the kids.

My daughters college graduation weekend
This house was absolutely amazing. Our daughter graduated from Texas State and we wanted a place big enough for all of the family to stay at. The house was fully stocked and had everything we needed. The pictures do not do this house justice it is absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and allowing us to share and make these memories with our family.

Excellent property!
This is a perfect place to stay with friends or family, conveniently isolated for peace and quiet yet close enough to many breweries and activities. The property was clean, with several rooms to host larger groups, and has lots of toys and activities for kids. The horses adjacent to the property were very friendly. It was to cold for us to swim but the pool is very nice. The property manager was friendly, helpful and communicative. I would highly recommend staying here!

A great property for a Hill Country getaway. The house was comfortable, clean and spacious. The setting was fantastic and it was an easy trip to Wimberley and Dripping Springs. Austin was a bit of drive. Other than that, a totally fantastic place to stay.

Slightly Disappointed
The home is very spacious and can accommodate a small group-that was a plus( need more bathrooms w/shower or tub). However, I was disappointed that we didn’t receive any house info/rules i.e. lighting the property-inside and out, stripping beds, where items are located, etc). We had to flip (literally) every light switch to see what turned on or off, and it’s a LOT of switches. We had to walk through opening doors etc. The house was moderately clean, we walked in and it had a “dull smell”, nothing like it was freshly cleaned. We had PLENTY of cleaning products but who wants to pay for a space and clean it up before settling in - but we did. We Lysol’d the rooms and sprayed the showers down with cleaner because it just wasn’t fresh. The shower head in Master had calcium buildup (that wasn’t cleaned in awhile). The shower had water build up, as if somebody just wiped it down but not cleaned it at all! The shower doors weren’t clean., just wiped. Very disappointing!, The outside furniture (table & chairs) had so much dust and again, that wasn’t one day worth of dust. You could see were it was wiped down, but not cleaned. We went to the pool but one portion was filled with a dark green algae-so we were grossed out with that. The hot tub was great though. We had a visit from the neighbor’s dog (Shyla), she wasn’t mean but it made most of us uncomfortable-we are not dog people, especially strange dogs. I called about it but it took two calls for the dog to be retrieved-NOT ok! I was disappointed that there was no follow-through until I called back an hour later. So we were inside until we found a way around the dog until he saw us. Some of my friends enjoyed the horses-they were friendly. The carpet clearly hasn’t been cleaned in a loooong time…it was vacuumed but spotted up- big dirt stains! It’s a nice wrap around porch but it was filled with bird poop in many areas, so sitting outside was not the best experience. It was not as clean as I thought it should have been. The house/host was listed as a “ super host” but it lacked “super”, for me, we made the best of it but would definitely seek other places before staying here again. It had some good qualities but overall, I was disappointed - I expected more based on pics and reviews.

Pros and cons
Pros: The house is exactly as shown in the pictures, spacious, comfortable, with pleasant views. Cons: As nice as the place is, I was surprised that they only supplied the worst, thinnest, single ply toilet paper imaginable. There is pump hand soap by the bathroom sinks but no soap, body wash, or shampoo in the showers. Be sure to bring your own. You may want to bring your own liquid dish soap as well; powder/tablet soap was provided for the dishwasher. On three separate occasions the water in the shower just completely shut off for no reason. It came back on a few minutes later but was really inconvenient being all soaped up and unable to rinse. The hot tub was nice and comfortably accommodated five adults (no more). Unfortunately, only about half the jets actually worked and the adjustment vents were broken. It also was only usable for the first two nights. By the third night the water was discolored and had begun to stink. Contacted the property manager and they advised that this was to be expected and it needed to be serviced after each use. The water in the house smelled strongly of sulphur, however, the kitchen sink did have a filtered water dispenser for drinking.

Great Family Getaway
This house is amazing! If you enjoy tranquility and nature the views are amazing, this house is for you! The kitchen has every gadget you will ever need for any type of meal. The space was perfect, plenty of room for our family of 8. The nearby horses would come to the fence line like clockwork, we enjoyed feeding them apples and carrots. The home has so much character! Loved the abundance of blankets and pillows everywhere! Made me feel at home. Good by Wimberley, until next time.
