A Warm Hug Kinda Home
My family and I spent the night here to celebrate New Year. It has a family vibe in the upstairs, filled with antiques and collections related to life in the area. The downstairs is open and modern, a great play place for the kids. The host has filled the home with lots of goodies to make your stay comfortable.

City folk in the country
We’re a group of city friends who came to Lexington for a taste of the country, and this stay was amazing! The home was spotless, and the host made us feel incredibly welcome with two dozen fresh-baked cookies and a dozen farm-fresh eggs. They were attentive to our needs, and the check-out process was super easy. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing country experience with great hospitality!

We had 11 family members some who stayed for one night and others several. Bill and Amanda were great and accommodated all our needs, even the change in linens each time. We felt right at home and even made ourselves breakfast with some farm fresh eggs, a gift from our hosts. Having a husband that grew up in the country, the farm brought back happy memories.

My friends and I were returning to our hometown after a long absence for our high school reunion. We wanted to have a comfortable place where could gather and talk. This was perfect for our needs and it was extremely clean. The house is a mini museum of local history and the family. Detailed instructions and labels throughout the house made our stay easy and comfortable.

Perfect overnight stay
Large farmhouse with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Kids loved the fresh baked cookies and the game room. Very peaceful and quiet location. The host are very kind and they took time out of their busy day to make sure we felt welcome.

Our stay was wonderful!! Perfect host, comfy beds and space to relax after a college visit and a day of shopping!!!! The house was super clean and exactly as described! Holiday family gathering
This house and the hosts are cut from a different cloth than most. Absolutely everything was thought out and perfectly done. So cozy, warm, clean and welcoming! Big well appointed kitchen was a dream to prepare meals in for our group. So many areas to spreadout in and enjoy time together. The whole place was lovingly, still decorated for Christmas with lights and even a tree! There was always a quick response to the few questions we had from Amanda. The icing on the cake was the personal farm tour for our littles and them getting to see the new baby calf.."Rory"! Thank you again! We will be back! We highly recommend this home for any group or gathering! You will not be disappointed.

Perfect place for a weekend trip!
Large, beautiful farmhouse with plenty of room for everyone. Hosts are the absolute best; so friendly and welcoming. They even brought us fresh baked treats! Would give 5,000 stars if we could.
This was a wonderful stay. We so enjoyed our time and wished we had more. My MIL was especially impressed with the fresh farm eggs provided and noted that the house was very thoughtfully stocked. Amanda was very hospitable and engaging and did a great job hosting. There were delicious treats, homemade cookies, snacks, etc that were not expected but just raised the experience. The house itself was very spacious and was very nice, while staying true to the style of a farm house. The animals were a real treat and we enjoyed just being around them. We will be back. We love this area anyway, the space is always majestic and beautiful.

Trekking to camp
My friend and I were taking our recent graduates to camp in North Carolina. We stopped off here to stay one night, and were very happy with our stay. The home is super clean, the host left us fresh farm eggs and homemade chocolate chip cookies. That was such a pleasant surprise. Best VRBO experience ever!
My friends and I spent a weekend at this VRBO and all agreed that it was the best VRBO experience we have ever had! Amanda, the host, was so kind, generous, and accommodating. She was quick to ask if we had everything that we needed and offered to take us on a tour of the beautiful property and farm! The house was fully stocked with everything we needed and more. The animals on the farm were a joy to see and very friendly. I would 100% recommend staying here to anyone traveling to Winchester, Lexington, or any surrounding areas! We are already planning our trip back!

Daughter's Graduation Stay
Our stay at Franklin Farms was the greatest. Having farm fresh eggs to the wonderful cookies was a hit. My sister and her family had a wonderful time, visiting historic Winchester, getting a tour of their farm to hosting a graduation party for my daughter (a UK graduate). All bedrooms are cozy with comfy beds and a great game room. We couldn't ask for a better place to stay!!! I'd recommend staying here if anyone visits Winchester or Lexington area. They are the greatest hosts!!
