Beautiful beach house in one of the east coast’s hidden gems! Just steps away from the beach, Casa Amapola offers a private getaway with all the comforts of home, as well as everything you need to relax.

Beach and pool quiet getaway
The house was perfect, plenty of room for 6 of us. Very clean and well organized, and the pool and outdoor area had a lot of seating and hanging out space. It's very quiet in the neighborhood, beautiful views of the surrounding beach and trees. Would recommend and stay there again.

Fantastic Place to Stay
My family and I stayed at Casa Amapola for the Thanksgiving week. It is very serene, with amazing ocean and mountain views. The house is very clean, the pool is great, everything works, nothing more you could ask for. The house is in a gated community, and it’s close to all the restaurants and nightlife. Things are really jumping from Thursday - Sunday, and very relaxed the other nights. The house is very close to shopping too, super convenient. We will be staying there again in the future for sure, thank you for everything José and Madelline! See you soon!

All we could ask for and more!!
This house was perfect for our long weekend getaway! The pool was enjoyed by all and being a quick walk to the beach for some shell searching was a bonus. The neighborhood is a gated community so this added an extra layer of security and comfort for all. Thank you to Jose & Madeline for opening your house to us and thinking of so many little details to make it so our stay was truly relaxing and low stress! Only very minor thing we had trouble with was understanding where to park. If we had arrived in the day and not in the rain, we probably would have seen it clearer but took us a bit at 10p to understand we were parking on the street and close to the front fence. We got it figured out though and with that being our only very small issue clearly this is a perfect house for a vacation destination!! Just wish we had had more days there!!

Very helpful
Jose was always just a text away if we needed anything. Hurricane took out the power to the house. We had solar power which took care of almost everything. There was 9 of us total and we had a blast. I recommend the snorkeling out of fajardo beach.

This place was perfect for us. The pool was relaxing & getting to the beach was easy & within a 2 minute walk. Anytime I had a question Jose got back to me quickly. It was close to a grocery store & other small stores. EL Morillo was our go to spot to get food. So if your looking for a nice quiet place to take your family I would highly suggest Casa Amapola 🤗

We booked our vacations at Casa Amapola after reviewing lots of other rentals and I have to say that Madeline and José have done a beautiful job with this property. The pool area provided my family with the perfect atmosphere to build unforgettable memories. The kitchen was nicely equipped and I was able to cook with the confort of my home. The entire house is nicely decorated and comfortable. Early morning showers were magnificent. I would definitely back to casa Amapola. area is

More than a house a home
The web pictures don’t do the property justice. The space is classic Spanish style and has more than ample room to acomódate our family for the month. The beach within view and the pool were all we needed to relax and l unwind from our life back home. We hope to return one day as this was a true home away from home experience. Puerto Rico family adventure
Our family vacation was a dream come true. The vacation home was close to the beach so we could walk there. The home is spacious with a wonderful pool. The air conditioning works great since it was humid when we went. There are plenty of big rooms to accommodate a big group. There is a barbq which we enjoyed using. Jose was helpful in providing information on activities, grocery stores and emergency services. The kitchen is well stocked if you choose to cook. We hope to return again.

Amazing stay
We had an amazing time at Casa Amapola! This was our first time to Puerto Rico but it truly felt like a home away from home. The neighborhood was quiet, and well kept. We hit the nearby beach daily and finished the each day in the pool. This was an all around perfect vacation spot.

Every Detail Thought Of
Casa Amapola is more well-stocked and thoughtfully prepared than any vacation home I’ve stayed in over the years. Anything we thought we needed, we found- even birthday candles! The house is even better in person than it looks in the photos, otherwise everything is as described. We were so comfortable and felt at home very quickly. Everything was clean (they even have robotic vacuums!) and comfortable, including the beds. The beach is a short walk and is beautiful. We would definitely stay again.

Great beach house in a quiet location
The property was clean, and thevpictures were accurate. There are beautiful ocean views from the balcony, along with the sound of the crashing waves. The owner was very responsive, and accommodating, our flight out was not until later in the evening, and he very generously allowed us to stay until the afternoon for no additional charge. The beach is a short and easy two minute walk. The beach is beautiful and secluded, with very few people. Great time, would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Gorgeous property in a beautiful location. Property had everything we needed. Well equipped to eat in and cook in a well appointed kitchen. Top notch outdoor grill we loved. I loved the pool and the balcony view of the ocean. Easy access to a beautiful beach for swimming and a shallow area for good snorkeling. My only disappointment was that the turtles didn't hatch while we were there. :) Absolutely loved this beautiful home that easily accommodated two families and would go back to Casa Amapola in a heartbeat. Gorgeous weather was icing on the cake. Was sad to leave. Felt very safe.

Highly Recommend
We are a group of six adults who travel together each February and we really enjoyed our accommodations. We would recommend this vacation spot to anyone. Clean, comfortable and spacious! Great host communication as well. Pool was so fun to have right there. Great memories made with great friends at a great place!! Highly recommend!!

Christmas/New Years PR Retreat
Jose and Madeline have gone above and beyond to create a home away from home for your tropical retreat. Everything you need to enjoy this location is provided. The beach area is beautiful! The beach are is clean and free of sea debri and the water is warm! Casa Amapola has plenty of beach chairs, a beach umbrella,table and cooler to an enjoy a full day there. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook for your family. Even the pantry had spices and cooking essentials to get you started. Two Brita water pitchers kept us hydrated with cool clean water. One thing to be noted - there is NO dishwasher! We quickly got in the habit of washing our dishes as we used them to keep the kitchen clean. The room air conditioners were extremely effective in keeping us comfortable and cool. The bedroom windows only had screens and shutters that we kept closed for the most part to keep the cool air conditioned air inside. This also helped block outside noise as we could hear more due to the lack glass windows. There is a noise ordinance in effect, but some of the neighbors did not abide by its time guidelines. We all enjoyed the outdoor space around the pool and morning coffee, afternoon reading under the gazebo. Christmas decorations kept the holiday spirit alive for us! A lovely family vacation at Casa Amapola with many adventurous side trips to keep our days busy, and evenings comfortable and relaxing.

Family Vacation
Casa Ampola is a super clean, well appointed home just a short distance from the beach. It was nice to be able to hear the surf from the house at night. We cooked dinner at the house every night and appreciated that the kitchen had everything we needed. My only disappointment was the close proximity to other homes. The home next door was having some work done which resulted in hammering and other construction noise by 7:00 am each morning.

This house is was warm and welcoming. very comfortable room sizes for everyone in the family. Beautiful views and everyone in my family had a great time. Very quiet neighborhood, clean and excellent property manager. The location can't be beat with a pool, walking distance beach and near by restaurants. We all had an amazing vacation.
