Casa De La Risa, nestled in Yucca Valley, California, was an inspired Santa Fe architecture built in the late 1980s, designed as a family retreat from the bustling city life. This 4 bedroom and 2.5 bathroom peaceful hideaway has everything you'll need! Relax in the outdoor jacuzzi or on the sun loungers soaking up the sun with some blissful views from the backyard. There's more to this lavish yard with an above ground pool and a BBQ for some outdoor grilling.
During the cooler nights you can even watch the views from the sun room while drinking a glass of wine and enjoying dinner at the outdoor dining table. There's an additional entertainment room built into the garage, this includes a pool table, foosball table, arcade games, Nintendo switch, projector and darts. Home is centrally located next to Joshua Tree National Park, Palm Springs, Hawks Landing Golf Course and Agua Caliente Casino. Home is also a short drive to nature preserves, trails, museums, restaurants, thrifting and antiquing.

Car recommended for getting around

HOUSE RULES (PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING):

Overnight street parking is not allowed.
City regulations of Yucca Valley only allow 3 cars to be parked overnight at the airbnb. Violating so may lead to a fine from the city.
Only the reserved guests at the time of booking are allowed on the property at any given time during your stay; this includes daytime (max 12) and overnight (max 8) guests.
Please do not burn any wood in the yard. The fire pit runs on propane. Indoor fireplace is not for the use of guests' safety.
No music or loud noise outside during county-mandated quiet hours (10:00PM-7:00AM)
No unauthorized weddings, parties, workshops or events, commercial or location-based photo/video shoot of any kind.
Moving indoor and outdoor furniture is prohibited.
Guests agree to pay violation fees assessed by the county for incidents that occur during their stay.

PET RULES:

Guests may bring 1 registered pet per stay for a fee of $75 per pet/week.
Pets are not allowed in the swimming pool, hot tub, furniture and beds at any time. If pet hairs found on beds, furniture and/or pool, the extra cleaning time fees will be passed onto our guests considering the mess.
Do not leave your pet outdoors unattended and without leash for extended periods of time.
Clean up after your pet.
We do not allow pets that are not potty trained and/or are menstruating.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

Pool maintenance is every Friday and Tuesday.
This home is on a Septic Tank system. For this reason nothing can be flushed down the toilet except toilet paper. This includes, feminine hygiene products, Q-tips, cotton balls, etc. Garbage disposal of the kitchen flushes into the septic too so please be mindful of what you discard into the garbage disposal. Following this policy will help avoid any plumbing issues.
Photoshoots & Special Events: if you'd like to use the House for a photo shoot or special event, let us know before booking as specific rules and fees apply. Unauthorized shoots/events are not permitted.

The game room is located in the garage that does not cool regularly, this room and garage do not have AC however there is a swamper and boxed fan. There is also not central heating system however we did add a space heater.

SECURITY CAMERAS:

For security and liability purposes, there are security cameras located outside of the house—this is a requirement mandated by our insurance provider due to the pool.
There are no cameras inside the house.
Rest assured, your privacy is important to us and will be respected—we do not actively check the cameras and assure you the cameras are not monitored during your stay. Camera footage is only reviewed if an incident occurs.


ASSUMPTION OF RISK:
By accepting this rental through Airbnb, you and the other members in your party as THE GUESTS agree to release THE HOSTS from all liability, including financial responsibility relating to injuries & personal property damage that may occur during your stay. You are agreeing to be responsible for supervising and assuring safe use of the pool, spa and other amenities for your guests.You recognize and understand that a Swimming Pool and Spa involve certain risks. Those risks include, but are not limited to, the risk of injury resulting from possible malfunction of the equipment used in the pool and injuries resulting from tripping or falling over obstacles in the pool area. Because the pool is an outdoor pool, no credits will be given if it becomes dirty. However, we can send our pool tech over for an additional clean if necessary.
