Lock yourself IN for a romantic get-away in our all NEW re-designed space inspired by the movie Shawshank Redemption! This space is sexy and moody with comforts Andy and Red could only dream of! Snuggle in the luxurious king sized bed beside a glowing fireplace and/or watch your favorite "prison movies" on the 40” smart TV.
This studio apartment has a kitchen area with electric stove, small fridge/freezer (see pics), microwave and coffee bar with fresh beans and flavored syrups to create your perfect cup of morning coffee! You will have a full bathroom with step-in shower, towels, soap, shampoo/conditioner and hair dryer. Free hi-speed wifi internet is provided inside the room. There is a private entrance with smart code lock; your own parking space directly in front of your unit, and front porch security light. Be sure to take photos using some of the fun props inside!

Situated amid four surrounding cities, (Shelby, Mansfield, Lexington, Crestline, Galion), we offer the serenity of the country with the advantage of getting to town and most area attractions in 10-20 minutes! Mid-Ohio Race Track and OSR Shawshank are just a short 15 min. drive! Beautiful Kingwood Center Gardens; Clearfork Reservoir & Marina and the Ohio Bird Sanctuary are also only a 15 min. drive as well as several access points onto the beautiful paved B&O bike trail.

Many great restaurants, wineries and breweries are within a 15 minute drive as well as three large grocery stores, gas stations and the whole gambit of fast food restaurants. (there is a listing inside the studio)

Nice getaway retreat
We stayed for one night while we attended the Blood Prison Haunted House. It was as cute as described. I highly recommend it if you are visiting the Reformatory. It was decorated for Shawshank prison movie.

Home away from home
I took my husband for an extended weekend and this was exactly what we needed. The space is perfect and has all the accommodations you could need. The owners are onsite but you don't see or hear them. The view is amazing as well. Thank you Traci & Bob for giving us a relaxing weekend full of fun and new adventures!!

What a great property! Both the room and the property are immaculate, and I highly recommend both Inn Carceration and the schoolhouse next door. It's a very serene setting perfect for relaxing and still only a short drive into titan.

Hidden Gem Close to OSR
My wife and I stayed here during a music festival and it was close to everything but far enough away to enjoy some fresh air. The bed was very comfortable and the space was exactly as described. The hosts were very communicative and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

I have already encouraged other family members to book a stay here! We came to the area to see Indy cars race at the Mid-Ohio track, and it took only 17 minutes (on pretty, uncrowded roads) to arrive at the gate. Our suite was clean and comfortable with a roomy bathroom, a lovely bed, and a well-supplied kitchen. We enjoyed the fun colors of the "fireplace" and all the Shawshank decor and props. The Ohio State Reformatory is a 15-20 minute drive away, and absolutely do not miss it! We learned so much. Oh, and don't forget to explore the charming backyard, too.

Anniversary getaway
Shawshank theme went perfectly with our weekend plans of doing OSR tour. Room was well done, comfortable and cozy. The property grounds and landscaping are beautiful and peaceful. I highly recommend staying here. Location is close to alot of restaurants etc. 15 minutes in either direction. Even took home a beautiful smelling candle made by property owners.

A newly renovated prison “escape” theme was on point. Lovely and comfortable decor. They could have not been more welcoming. Lawn chairs to view the eclipse and a quaint group. We will plan another “escape” when we plan a visit to the prison.

Unbelievably clean and the owners were SO friendly!
I loved this property so much I wanted to buy it on the spot. The Teacher's Lounge was perfect for two people and it was the perfect distance to nearly everything in the area. We also got to take a quick peek at the Schoolhouse, and it was also FABULOUS. I can not say enough good things about this property!

It was a lovely stay!
I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Teacher's Lounge! The property was clean, quiet and comfortable. We were in the area for my niece's graduation party and this was a great place to stay close by. I would love to come back sometime when I can spend more time actually at the Lounge and sit on the outside bench and read beside the fountain. So picturesque! Check in and out was super easy via text. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful September weekend
Simply wonderful, such a beautiful neighborhood, and a beautiful cozy room. This is the place to stay and pamper yourself. The king bed made it very hard each morning to open your eyes and climb out of it. Looking forward to becoming a regular. Hands down 5 star stay! Everything was very clean and well stocked. They even made sure the ice machine was making fresh ice when we got there. Very quiet and private. The little pond out front was so cute. Good location lots to do and see within 15 to 20 minutes away. Would definitely stay again. Next time we are going to try the Schoolhouse.

Such a wonderful stay! From the moment we stepped on the property until we left was absolutely perfect! The Teachers Lounge is a comfy cozy place with well thought out amenities. We watched the sunset over the cornfields and relaxed into the peaceful quiet setting which is quintessential Ohio! The hosts were responsive and we felt so welcome.
