In winter, the region turns into a paradise for winter sports enthusiasts. The Hauser Kaibling and Schladming-Dachstein ski areas offer excellent pistes and cross-country ski trails. Away from the pistes, you can go snowshoeing, tobogganing or enjoy a romantic carriage ride through the snow-covered landscape.
