Nice place but be careful don’t to be reaped off
My stay was great until it was time to checkout. While we were getting our things together I heard a knock on my door and it was someone from the reception who wanted to talk to me. He was requesting for more money because the room they gave us was more than what we paid for, I just had to hold my peace because I didn’t want to mess up my great vocation. I told him that I did not ask for a room change or an upgrade so since that was the first room we were taken in I don’t owe anything. I was very disappointed and advised them not to do that to anyone again, because if your staff made a mistake giving us the wrong room they should have moved us the same day and not wait 2days later for more money. I paid a $100 a night for my stay so I don’t know how much more they wanted for the room,I didn’t ask because I was disgusted by the whole thing.

Enjoyable tetreat
Our arrival was tricky as, despite pre-paying, the hotel had not received our Booking and it was full. However the owner himself got involved and we were found two ‘emergency’ rooms and given a delicious lunch on the house. The rooms were not as good as the main ones but they couldn’t have done more. The following day we were relocated to excellent rooms and the only hot showers in our 2 week stay in Ghana. I had stayed here on previous visits but since then there has been lots of refurbishment and upgrade. The bathroom was particularly good! The gardens are delightful and food excellent. We were well looked after by an attentive staff team. I think this is good value as hotels in Ghana go and a beautiful location on the banks of the river - very peaceful.

The place is nice but management was too poor. The water barely reach to our bathroom, there was no pressure and no hot water. The towels were old. The food was good but on a 3 day stay, at second day lunch they didn´t have almost anything from the menu...

Our disappoint was in reservation - called twice after booking and couldn't get confirmation of Expidia booking - I paid Expidia and hotel insisted they checked with Expidia and I had not paid while I am showing on my iPad Expidia app receipt collected by Expidia. Shame on you Expidia this complaint is being made often by your customers to this hotel and you do not warn them to stop trying to double collect from customers. I was very upset by the whole ordeal. The hotel was using a workers cell phone and had no working Computer to check on the Expisia web site.

It was very comfortable hotel. Staff were very kind. Although we had dinner at the hotel restaurant, we could not enjoy fully. Because they did not enough have food and fish etc., so that the menu which we could choose was limited. But the taste was so tasty.

Nice lakeside Resort
The resort is located in a very serene area.The reception staff were very helpful. Gave me all the assistance i needed. Room very spacious.Some damp areas on the wall.Producing fungal smell.Beddings very clean.TV, working well.Multichannel. The food from the restuarant was nice and lovely. Staff are very quick to response to queries. The hotel ground lawns were all well laid. Overall its very nice resort to get away from the hustle and bustle of the capital.

Worst customer service
I made a reservation for this hotel online and after 3 hours of travel I arrived at the hotel only to find out that the reservation I had made was not kept. All of the rooms had been booked and the front desk supervisor refused to work with me. He told me there was nothing he could do and that he called all of the hotels in the area and there were no other rooms available. He refused to refund my money and advised that I follow up with the online booking site. In my view, it was not my fault that the booking company and the hotel did not have clear communication. I am currently still seeking a refund and very frustrated with the hotel and the booking site.

Massive improvement needed
The location is perfect but the hotel service is poor,only 3 TV channels available to watch,need to phone reception each time you need to shower( low water pressure). For over circa100 dollars a night,this hotel is not fit for purpose..I stayed there for 2 nights and I promise never to stay there again.

Proceed at your own risk!
I have stayed here 3 times, and while the grounds are lovely, and the staff friendly, their booking system is a mess, and the maintenance of the resort is worse. Even though I always book and pay in advance, they always have difficulty finding my reservation. However, on my last visit, there was also a problem with the electricity. There are often electrical outages in Ghana, but they could not get the generator to work, and so our rooms had neither electricity nor a/c for either of the 2 nights we were there. Given this track record, I would say: proceed at your own risk.
