I have been part of a golf outing that has stayed at this particular Holiday Inn for the past 25 years. All of my stays I would give a 5 star rating until this year. I always booked directly through the Holiday Inn. This year I called them and the front desk said they were to busy to book and I should call back later. After 3 more attempts over a period of a 4 hours I was still told to call back because they were tending to customers at the front desk and were busy. Needing to get my booking in I decided to go with Travelocity. My stay was for 2 nights. All was good until the morning of my checkout when to my surprise there was no hot water. I confronted the front desk when I checked out thinking they might offer some type of compensation but I was wrong. I was told it was not an issue with them since I booked through a third (Travelocity) party. Are you kidding me? What does Travelocity have to do with the hot water ? After further debate I was offered 1000 points on my Holiday Inn member card. I found this very disappointing and consider it bad business. After 25 years I don’t know why it was so hard to make a booking. Is the problem a policy change or an inefficient staff at the front desk.

Many of the guests that we stayed with had to switch rooms because what they ordered was not what they were provided with. I ordered a king suite and was initially provided with a double queen room. The employees did happily make the exchange in my new room the shower had mold In the corners. Overall, the room smelled slightly musty, the air conditioner in the bedroom spelled black flex all over the white and sheets each night. The restaurant and bar attached. The hotel had good food, but was slightly understaffed.

Upon check-in we were given a room that was not what we had reserved. Returned to front desk, was given a different room, that at least had 2 beds but was again not what we had booked. It was late and we were tired so we just dealt with it. Room was small, smelled musty. Beds were decent. AC worked. Bathroom, particularly the shower was not clean. Woke up to get ready for the day, noticed we only had one towel. No hand towels. No washcloths. One singular towel for a family of 4. Shower pressure was awful. Limited parking. Overall not impressed, especially given the price. Would not stay here again.

I did not like the room.The bathroom needed to be upgraded.The air conditioner needs to be upgraded.The telephone was not connected.There was no vanity in the bathroom.No on sweet in the bedroom and this was a sweet
