The check in process took over an hour. We were extremely disappointed. When we finally got a room, it was a 3rd floor walk up. Due to a previous surgery stairs were difficult-but we didn’t have any other options and just wanted to get settled. My wife was sick from the buffet shrimp for 48hrs. And getting reservations at the a la carts restaurants was impossible. Lastly, we were informed all inclusive meant access to 1 meal at the a la carte restaurant. I would not recommend this resort to anyone.

The property is infested with rodents. They have a rodent problem. The other resorts by Bahía does not. They are on the walls in the buffet, all on the snack bar. You can’t get up from your chair without the raccoons and other rodents trying to eat your food. It’s disgusting. The resort isn’t well lit so again be careful of the rodents. They don’t have room service. You have to walk in the dark 2am 10 minutes to a snack bar. The shuttles are no where to be found. I called the front desk they told me to wait outside - I might see one but drivers are limited. The food is disgusting. You can only try 1-2 restaurants in the resort and most restaurants are booked! If I could get my money back I would. This is a 3 star resort. The other resorts like Akumal and Sian Kian are 4 stars. I hate this resort and I couldn’t wait to come home so that I can eat! This place sucked!!!!!!

Terrible service. Do NOT recommend.
I do NOT recommend this hotel. I’ll start with the good: nice property. Room was great size and bed very comfortable. Great for kids with kids club you can check your kids into. Clean. Good was fine. Drinks ok. The reason I’ll never stay there again: The front desk staff are rude and NOT helpful at all. Had to make a reservation for the restaurants but when we got there we were unable to make any reservations they said none had any availability. Talked to “guest services” who did not help us and had to wait over an hour for them to show up. Finally offered us 1 restaurant for the day we were leaving 5 days later and they had our info pulled up so they knew we had to checkout that day. Went to the restaurants to try get a table and they had more empty tables then full tables and still refused give us a table. Buffet food ok but a restaurant would have been a nice change. I’m a believer in “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it” but want others to know this before they decide to stay there.

Our trip was amazing, the front desk staff Ericka at 2:00 am was extremely helpful. Overall the property was beautiful great view. Property is clean and well kept plus great friendly staff. Food and drinks conveniently all around resort. Would recommend this place to visit again, only minor issue was Booked transportation with Bahia and transportation didn't arrive at airport due to driver issue. We just Paid $250.00 us dollars for a taxi. So plan accordingly for transportation to avoid…. Once on resort all went smooth.

Massive hotel (4 large Hotels in the same location). Had to walk too much between all the buildings to get food or entertainment. Very nice staff and the food was very good and well prepared with a lot of choices. Btw. Read the small print. There are no elevators. Due to the storm we lost a day. The hotel from desk was very helpful and courteous. Expedia was non existent and handled the situation very poorly! I Tate the hotel at a 8.5 star. I have used Expedia probably 15-20 times and always had good luck. I give Expedia a 1 out of 10 on this one. Very dissatisfied with Expedia on this. I would recommend the hitel but very disappointed in Expedia’s performance!
