Golden Beach Apartments Oura

Enjoyable stay helpful reception staff. Bit too close to the rowdy Strip in Albufeira, even in late April and May strip buzzing. Apartments were quiet at night time. However towards end of stay family with children in apartment above made so much noise, no noise insultation at all between apartments. Not sure I would want to be here in peak season! Housekeeping often came very late in day but did a good job - just dont expect any soap shampoo or shower gel to be given rather miserable of hotel. Expected better sea view as obstructed by buildings in front, but was a pleasant enough view. Overall clean comfortable apartments.

Great little place for Praia da Oura.

Pros: Small complex, peaceful and quiet. Next to beach. Very clean and great standard apartments.
Cons: Pillows are not the greatest, but you get used to them.
Location: Great for beach. At the bottom of a very steep hill but we walked up it without a problem. Lots of tuk-tuks to take you up, if you struggle, few euros
We stayed here for a few days and had a great time. We arrived quite early (11.45am) and were expecting to have to wait for a room but were warmly greeted and given the key to our sea view apartment immediately (great start). Couldn't fault the apartment, it was overlooking the pool and was very large and very clean. This place has clearly undergone some significant renovations recently as everything looked so new. The pool was sparkling, clear and clean. Pool bar was great and prices not bad at all, with daily happy hours. Little supermarket just outside complex and several snack bar/eateries. With the beach on your door step, it was a great little spot. Hotel manager is very nice and makes a point of speaking with guests and making sure everything is ok, which is not something you often see. Very well run place, by thoughtful, diligent staff.

Die Lage ist super und das Hotel an sich einfach super schön, sauber und sehr gepflegt. Wir sind mit Baby gereist und es war ein rundum gelungener Urlaub. Es gibt einen Babypool und auf unsere Nachfrage auch ein Babybett und Hochstuhl für das Zimmer. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.
